Hi there! I just saw your video and I was so happy to see that you enjoy coming to the indie lake campgrounds because I use to camp here at Sabos Lakeside Campground, next to the Aries Bldg by the spillway, for 8 years. We sold our camper and bought a little home in Lakeview. We were in the Tornado last March, but thank God our modular home community did not get hit. Most of Lakeview did. I love Buckeye at the Lake pizza! I hope you guts loved it also. I bought a small TT to pull with my Ford 150, and I plan on making my first camping trip at Indian Lake State Campground. I would love to meet you guys next time you come to the lake! Although we have loved here now for 2 years, we still feel like we're discovering new places also. I'd love to check out some of this places with you guys. I have compiled a long list of places I want to go camping at, thanks to you two! I love the feed back about all the places you camp and the things to do in the area. Hope to see you soon, happy camping! Do you ever winter camp? Hugs, Tonda and Penny (my 5# yorkie) in OH-IO!

What size is your truck a 1500 or 250? Just wondering my wife and I are looking to buy a truck and camper about your size.
@TravelingBuckeyes23 күн бұрын
It’s a 2500 Hd Chevy. It tows the camper with ease. I highly recommend a 3/4 ton over a 1/2 ton.

We watch your show all the time. We live in Fremont, Ohio, about 2 minutes from Sandusky County fairgrounds. It's just the two of us, and we're getting closer to retirement and plan on traveling. That's why I was asking about your truck. Enjoy your day, and look forward to another video from you.

Hey guys, had a question about Lake Loramie Campground. I’m sure it does, but wanted to check with you. Are there water spigot’s conveniently located to fill up the fresh water tank in the camper? Thanks so much!

If we remember right it’s when you come in on the right. It has been awhile since we have been there. But what I can remember that is where it is.

It is good to see you posting again! And what a cool. Event! We’re only about 90 minutes east of Findlay, so we will have to see when next year’s festival is being held. Favorite doughnut? French Cruller! But not soggy like Dunkin makes. 😜 Favorite doughnut shop? Now it is called The Donut Shop, in Russell’s Point. But when I was a kid, it was a treat to go to Hinkle’s for doughnuts and watch the Chris~Crafts across the road take passengers on rides. There was a paddle wheeler there , too, but I’m not sure if I remember it, or just remember photos of it when I was tiny. I haven’t had a Hinkle’s doughnut in over 45 years! Thanks for taking us along!
@TravelingBuckeyes2 ай бұрын
You should definitely check out the Balloon Festival! We know the donut shop in Russell’s Point well! I (Christy) spent my summers at the lake and made many, many trips to the donut shop! Thanks so much for watching!

As a fellow Buckeye I look forward to viewing your videos. I appreciate the activities you highlight and the pros and cons of the campground reviews. I camp in a dodge ram promaster van so I prefer shaded campsites (no AC). Looking forward to more of your adventures.

Stayed here a few years ago it's a great little campground. My son had a basketball tournament and this was much better than staying in the hotel! For anyone with boys in that 10 to 14 range... If you're in the area drive south on Parnell Avenue but before doing that use Google Maps and turn voice guided navigated directions on with the volume turned all the way up set it to go to the campground. Use another phone to record your reactions, when it tells you to turn on the campground road... Harry Baals Drive The way Google Maps pauses and says the name and it's only coming from this direction for some reason at least that's what we noticed I guarantee you your whole car will be laughing... Childish, yes, 100% but they'll get a kick out of it...
