Beautiful Kefalonia Tomorrow is Agia Efimias day so in the resort with the same name will be celebrations parade I was lucky and I was there exactly 10 years ago I should be visiting Kefalonia again soon

I mostly went around filming early hours as well as this being in June, so not the most packed time of the year. But Samos seems to be quieter than other islands of Greece.

Kalamia Beach, northern end of Lassi. :) A few hundred meters after the last supermarket and to the left.

I wanted to go Ithaca, Meganisi and Lefkas. But due to flight schedule and ferry schedule we scrapped the first two and went to Kefalonia instead. But it's on my list.

Hello. Agreed I could have attached a map. If you find Villa Michel-Angelo southeast of Pigadia you will see some kind of off-road path going west to east towards Agia Kiriaki. Then you just follow the road full circle.

How could you miss Mirador del Rio? It is the most spectacular spot on the island and has one of the best views of anywhere.

Outside main season, I went to the busier areas early and less busy places when people were out and about. Plenty of people on Samos, just not as many as the bigger tourism islands.

@TheEscapistProject thanks for that. My great grandparents were from Samos. I'm yet to get there, so always watching what I can. I hope by the end of this year I will manage. I would love to see the locals and see the food. Even the preparation because my grandmother taught me lots of recipes!

Your video is not half bad, as most videos here do not include leaving your car....some places you've missed are La Zarza, one of the most beautiful forests of the Island, as also the Puntagorda / Las Tricias area. Also I would recommend to anyone hiking to the Torre del Time, with one of the most breathtaking views over the Island. On the matter of beaches Charco Verde is the place to be. Most beautiful beach on the island.

I think you probably visited at the wrong time of the year. Yes, Papagayo looks very full and dismal on the day you went. I have been a few times and have seen the beautiful colours of the azure sea and vibrant bouganvilia plants. Nothing looks the same without the sunshine.
