Just thought I'd let you know that I saw Ateez 3 days ago and now I'm rewatching your videos for the 2nd time to get rid of the post concert depression 🥰 I'm a multi but Ateez is my ult group and Hongjoong is my ult bias (I go absolutely feral for his captain's armband every time I notice it) 🏴‍☠

Jongho was initally in TOP ent. but left due to company ppl (idk if staff or actual coaches) didn't like how nasally his voice was. He had his one coach to help train him to sound less nasally. Hence why he says he didn't know what to do at one point. After going to KQ, it took time to train and he was really lost, taking time off to figure things out. I'm really glad he did stay, his vocals deserve to shine on stages. :)

A suggested for non music content would be to ask Atiny for favorite compilation videos per era. That way you could pick a couple that fit the amount of time you feel like spending, but still get a feel for how they've grown and evolved off-stage. Thanks for the reaction!

36:24 That's the ending of Coachella Week 2. My jaw dropped when I heard Seonghwa's scream - that mic is by his waist and it still picked it up. I know you will get to it eventually - it's amazing. The fan chant during Guerrilla was loud enough to be heard in the youtube streams for the Main and Sonora stages on the other side of the festival grounds. The reason why their vocals are so stable is because they practice their singing while running on treadmills. Seonghwa and Mingi were at an interview last year and explained that their CEO had told them they're singers first, so their vocals needed to be excellent.

Hongjoong and Seonghwa also have met almost like destiny! Seonghwa was gonna give up when his dance school director mentioned a trainee his age training really hard to fulfill their dreams. Later when he joined KQ, he realized Hongjoong was the boy his director told him about and the one that indirectly motivate him to try one more time.

Ateez is truly a breath of fresh air in the kpop industry. Truly performance kings with outstanding charisma and talent. They have earned their success.

Since you seem to appreciate the personality side of Ateez as well as their music, I would love to see you get into some of their fun moments/comps. Seeing people laughing and having fun while watching Ateez is honestly one of my favorite parts of new people getting into this group and you also seem like such a fun and sweet person!! If this is something you’d rather watch in your own time then that’s perfectly fine as well but I’d definitely recommend it either way, they never fail to make you smile. I wasn't expecting the video to be up today but what a pleasure! This comment will be long, so sorry in advance. I enjoyed watching you learning about them, your input and opinions and questions are great you don't need to wory about talking to much or too little as I can see you are focusing and really internalizing the information and things you are hearing/seeing. As for Jongho's vocal training as far as I know he is not classically trained but he has worked with a lot of vocal coaches and trainers that are very big in the musical industry (as you saw in the clip he has worked with trainers that have worked with michael jackson and other non-kpop artists, and he was highlighted as one of the three best students from a very recognized vocal coach in the kpop industry), so I believe that they would focus on that stability and "theatricality" that is so present in clasically trained voices. If another atiny has more info on that please let us know ^^. In regards of the varierty content I totally understand the amount of time that requires if you were to think about recording and posting it. If I can give a suggestion maybe you could do like a poll so that people decide one or two episodes of whatever variety content for you to post and you just watch the rest on your own? Once again, I'm so excited to be part of your journey and I hope you get to love them as much as we Atiny do 😊 Take your time and your bias will come to you as all of them are equally charming and talented! 🥰

i've been a fan of ateez' music for maybe 2 years now and watched a couple non music related videos but because bts is such a big partof my life i kind of forgot about them and just kept being a casual listener but just a couple weeks before you made your channel i re introduced myself to them. this timing is just so perfect because i didn't think this time would go any differently but it did and i'm very much obsessed with them now so it's fun following your journey. i can't wait for you to get to their later albums

Hearing you talk about their voices- I think you would really like a video series by CatchingTeez where she does a vocal analysis of the members. She only has Yeosang and Wooyoung so far, but she said she is doing all the members. They are longer, so I don’t know if you would want to react to them. But even just in your own time, I think you would enjoy it!

Great reaction as always! It's alright you didn't comment as much, that's totally understandable - it's a lot to take in. This guide is really good at covering 'hard facts'. If you want to watch more personality content in your own time, there are many cool compilations that show off their relationships and characters even more, especially as you seemed to enjoy their offstage chaos. (There's so much chaos!) And it's very understandable about the variety content! It of course would be amazing to see your reactions, but it's a lot and you already dig into their content so deeply. @17:00 yes that is Yeosang. He also does that with one hand now just to show off. One thing I will say as a Yeosang bias- the twilight/stay performance is a really good example of the lack of lines both Yeosang and Wooyoung used to get. Like it’s a really really cute performance, but it will always stick out to me that Wooyoung did not sing once and Yeosang sang 4 words. Especially with how killer those two were in this showcase for the rest of it- it’s like such a stark difference. I love love love their older stuff- I have been Atiny from day one- but it can honestly be a little said looking back on these songs.

Blue hair is Captain Hongjoong. And I say this bc you’re an army. Ateez is complete opposite. Check out cyberpunk, selfish waltz, dune, the ring, this world, mist,Hala Hala….deep dive, man on fire , blind… Ateez has 1970s disco, 1980s new wave genre, Motown, heavy rock, raggae, bachata merengue…. There’s no other in Kpop like Ateez. I’m not saying they’re better. Like who does raggae, raggaeton, merengue, bachata, heavy metal screamo, Motown,70s and 80s in kpop? Only Ateez 😅 and they’re Ffff PHENOMENAL!!!!
