❤thanks for these. As a special needs mom & teacher these are really helpful-especially since we can’t afford OT right now

I love this video!! Love this information. I have to say this. I learned this recently too. Angry and sad you referred to as negative emotions. They are not negative emotions at all. They are what we refer to as “strong” emotions. Intense emotions or strong emotions. They are not bad feelings or negative emotions. They are not bad. What we do when we feel them can be bad but feeling the emotion is not bad or negative. This should be fixed in your video.

Adam OT. This is all fantastic! Do you have any activities for helping with clothing orientation and getting t-shirts/school shirts on/off? Thanks for any tips.

Bro, you are an OT lifesaver. I thank Jesus for you. I did the cool cup and sinking straw in the bottle thingy and my student with epic melt downs LOVED IT. Thank you!

Omg thank you! I’m 31 hyper mobile and only just started having thumb pain and tendinitis. One problem is writing. Can’t write without pain anymore. Due to hyper mobile I was tucking my thumb under index to feel like I had control of pen. Tried other “correct” grasps and can’t write the same neatness. This helps a lot

I cannot find push pins like you have. Either that just have the ball on top with the neddle coming out of it, or the type with the flat top. What was your search query to find these?

Hi Adam! This is a great video! I'm an OT and also a BJJ purple belt in Australia. Is there a way I can ask you more questions about BJJ and OT? I'd really love to start a program focusing on making BJJ more inclusive for those with disabilities. Thank you in advance!

Great video! However, I think it would be a good idea for you to buy a professional microphone. The audio quality is relatively poor. I have to concentrate to understand what you say (I have high-quality speakers).

When thinking about is i"s legible" or "functional" it made me wonder if I should correct a child who doesn't , for example, start writing a lower case "a" from the top of the letter. If they start at the bottom and move the around and up the make the circle part of the "a". As long as it looks correct does it really matter? I mostly work with 1st-3rd graders and they have already developed their way of forming letters. Should I correct them?
@saraholoughlin12934 ай бұрын
OT here! In the younger years I DO try and teach proper letter formation, as incorrect letter formation tends to result in difficulty keeping up with the speed of handwriting required in the older years and makes the transition to cursive much harder! I really like the handwriting without tears books for teaching letter formation. If the child is over 8, it is much harder to relearn letter formation, but not impossible!
