I know the video is old, but I needed it like yesterday.😀 Question! I just ordered hooks, but I cannot really see what you are doing with the thread on the other side after putting the one hook on one side. Can I use this method using a hook on each side instead of sewing with thread and trying to create loops or whatever you created on the opposite side with the thread? Beginner sewer here!

What a great way to draft a sweetheart neckline! I always have problems drafting bustier necklines, it never occurred to me to use the armhole Princess seam as a guide. Thank you, I am about to start drafting a pattern for a mermaid gown with an over skirt using your tutorial on a detachable Tulle skirt with train, so this bustier tutorial will be a huge help for me 🙏🙏

This tutorial has helped me to get started on a wedding gown I am currently planning, I am planning on a Mermaid dress and using this pattern/tutorial to make a Tulle overskirt, the only thing I am planning on doing is using 8-10 layers of Tulle. Thank you, your tutorials are very helpful and informative.

Can you sew through the boning on a domestic machine not an industrial? I have to attach satin binding to top of bodice and it will hit multiple seams with boning. All my machines birdnest or skip stitches no matter the setting when going over the boning. Every video i see is using an industrial machine no everyone has space for one.
