Great question! I basically put down tiles on my base plate and then build the slide box then put tiles on the top of the box then put a brick over the top to lock it in. If you want I can do a video on the mechanics of it as well. Thanks for your question!

@BD BRICKS I haven't built anything new added Jack's and new bedrooms to 2 of the toyhaulers that's it . Been focused on real rv life not the lego stuff...
