I worked summers-'78 - '80-in the Harvey plant. I fell out in the heat treat one summer. I've never been the same with hot weather ever since. My old man worked there before & after the war. He took early retirement. He got a Hamilton watch (made in the US then) for 25 years of service in 1961. I still got that watch.

I love driving past and seeing it every time I go into the city.

My father worked there until 1986 when they closed it down.

Excellent footage. I've always been interested in this structure and you've shown areas that could not be seen before. I see more of the roof has collapsed as well. Thank you for revealing some of the architectural details I was curious about. If you ever do another would like to see the tower detail interior section more.
