I think you should probably do a review once again because clone metal Sonic has been given a nerfed mostly an energy where if you use any of your abilities like the flying or charge up this will waste your energy and once your energy goes to zero you basically die so I don't know I think they kind of just balance him out a little bit

Honestly RUN would be so fun if it wasn't so unstable. I still love Roger's levels though.

I just wanna pop in and let you know (I just found out yesterday) that Bionis Fields and Blue Mist Story are actually both out and have been for a while! They're just on Gamebanana instead of the MB, as are most Persona specific mods, it turns out! I'm liking Bionis so far, although I will say I was expecting more story, it's mostly exploration.

I'm sorry to say this but, you are using the zipdash and the ringburst wrong, for the ringburst use the burst movement to go up and down quickly. As for the zipdash, you are aiming it incorrectly, infact its easier to aim on controller yet its still hard for you, make sure to wait as you are aiming the zipdash before launching off, it gives you a but more time to aim the thing, and if you get good at it, you can do it very quickly.

i really dont know what to tell you about speed highway, i had a record attack for it when i used the level (i used it to race sonic and shadow in it). maybe you need to equip another mod or level pack that allows record attack? the level should still show up if you do, but srb2 gens is impossible to get record attack with

The whole "just point at a direction and hope for the best" could've been easily fixed if you had a octagonal gate on your joystick, (GameCube style joystick) since those make it far more predictable where he's going when you point at the direction you want him to go at. (I still love X sonic very much, even if he's slightly unpredictable thanks to normal controllers having circular gates)

Honestly roger always designed his maps to be thoroughly explored so you find cool refferences, a medal or two and chaos emeralds Thats why he makes it all so big but the difference between 1 and 2 is not only in their length but also the attention to detail and how alive 2 is Of course people are gonna struggle with where to go sometimes but thats a problem that fixes itself really quick if you just look around Also he DID try to highlight where you needed to go in this pack its just that he didnt cover some things and didnt make some stuff clear enough so yeah... still a 9/10 for me

I had an idea to rework Mighty's abilities. What if his playstyle leaned on him being a kinder sonic, give him a thok that can go into his wallcling, the wallcling could work more like in knuckles chaotix where he could jump vertically instead of just away from the wall, and if you time it right you can convert your vertical momentum into horizontal momentum and if you're really cracked you can stack vertical jumps to get even higher horizontal speed. Also, they should allow him to "parry" proyectiles, like you thok into a light bolt and you have a brief punching animation where he returns the attack. In post reboot archie, Mighty had to take anger managment leasons to be all zen n stuff, maybe add a bit of that, using enemies as vertical boosts if you thok into 'em "Every enemy is an opportunity to rise higher". I like the idea of him using his strength to avoid being crushed, so add that too. And maybe the hammer drop could bounce you up if you held spin down, that'd be fun.

I personally disagree with this score. In my personal opinion, I say keep the wall-cling because it's meant to be used as a sort of breather moment to know where to head next even with cramped spaces. I've done a quick research on his moveset, and that you're supposed to keep the jump button held for the cling to work and not every single surface is meant to be clingable like with Knuckles, but unlike Knuckles where he can move in the walls, Ray instead can cling as many times as he wants even when the glide is lost as long as he isn't in his damaged or walking/running state. This ability to infinite cling is actually really good and kinda fits with the character's plucky comic relief nature.

If you're using a controller, my advice would be to switch to keyboard and mouse. Throughout all my time playing srb2, the thing that contributed most to my performance was making that change. It has a bit of a learning curve but it should save time overall when it comes to reaching the higher skill levels, that is of course if you aren't already at that level on controller. There are some really good controller players like particle as well as a really nice fellow I know personally called "Pierre", but the vast majority of high level srb2 players are on keyboard and mouse. As for maps that I would personally suggest to a beginner, try some of the stuff in "starshy stages", the maps are both decently engaging but also relatively easy.
