It's crazy how the level of Teams participating in the UK event has dropped so low since it's now pretty much only UK Teams. Oxford Brookes would struggle to even be competitive at an event like Austria or Hungary. Let alone Germany...

Fantastic video. The footage is incredible, and the editing is perfect. I'd like to ask you a favor. I'm starting a series of videos about my teams' car development and I wanted to ask you if I could take a small bit of your footage from this video to insert it in mine, while I make a brief introduction to explain what Formula SAE is. I only raced in (remote, for pandemic reasons) static events, so I don't have any footage from an actual FSAE venue. Of course I'll give you credit for the footage at the bottom of the screen while your video is playing and thank you and all the other creators that gave their permission. I'll also link your video in the description and put a pinned comment where I tell people to go check it out, together with the others. Thank you in advance, whatever you decide about it. Amir Penkar you have to be part of that particular team who has made that car .. then your driving skills matters .. then you will be selceted and prepared for that event as driver

I really wish they had a race event instead of just timing events! Wider track, higher top speed on the cars and it might be really cool. Could even bring attention of racing teams in formula rookie or similar low tier series

race events would be too risky I think. They can't really afford to crash into each other.

yeah nah mate, if you are in a small team with a yearly budget of lets say 300.000,-€ a season, you cant afford to destroy even a 30.000,-€ front wing

@@DF-pr4sb Oh well they certainly do in germany. One can only speculate, but the teams sponsored by Porsche, Benz etc. certainly do rock up with expensive Kit and build 3 cars a year with only the best materials. That costs a lot of money. Keep in mind that that sum is not in cash but also includes sponsored parts and services etc. Most small teams i know here estimate their car's material worth to be around 150k
