Look at Tony Bennett, until he developed Alzheimer's, Frankie is one of a lot of older rockers that got lucky and works hard to keep those golden pipes. We all lose it as we get older and I know that because I am only sixty and with severe degenerative disc disease and many other neurological problems that go with it, it takes four meds a day, plus oxycodone to give me a good six hours of functioning like I did when I was thirty. I never in a million years thought at sixty, I would be walking slower than Frankie until the oxycodone kicked in, if it were not for my beloved pets, I a lot of the time pray to the Lord to not let me wake up. Then, I think about those little girls who love me like I was a God, my Yorkie, Maci, and my Deer head Chihuahua, Layla and I say, forgive me Lord, and I just use old school mentality and push, even though I feel beyond like shit four out of seven days a week. God bless you all and your health and Frankie, may you be singing in that Falsetto at one hundred.

Oh damn I can’t believe I missed this show. Years ago, Ian used to frequent the old Juanita’s and my friends and I would never miss a show. One show in particular, he chose not to play Now You’re Gone during his set, and afterwards as he was standing by the door and visiting with everybody who was leaving, I happened to mention that we were bummed he didn’t play it. Ian quickly glanced around and said ‘ya know what, gimme a second…’ and he shook a few more hands and turned around and walked back towards the stage and grabbed his guitar and motioned for us to follow him. We followed him out the back door and he sang and played Now You’re Gone outside just for the 4 of us. It was incredible and something I’ll never forget. Thanks for posting

It was a really fun show! I hate that I missed part of the first song and got blocked by some people who were trying to get seated during Puppy Love, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. I’m glad you enjoyed the videos!
