Shouldn't the castle nut wrench be 90 degrees from the torque wrench handle to achieve proper torque value? I always thought having it at any other angle would cause an incorrect reading.

A friend of mine had an AR 15 that had natural wood stock and gun blued metal. It was all factory and in like new condition. He lived in a rural area near a penal colony so he kept it handy.

I had the same experience with the Shield mags. I sent them back. I am reluctant to try the Micro Daggers. I think I will stick with my stock 10 rounders. They work! Why buy an extremely RELIABLE GUN, and feed it with 50-50 mags?

Haha I bought a Toolcraft Nickel Boron BCG because I got a good deal on it... Ill run it and if it starts to give signs of issues you pointed out Ill get a quality Chrome or Phosphate BCG to replace it

Thank you. I've come to learn the same thing over the years. Yes, clean your gun, but it doesn't have to be squeaky clean. And then oil your gun, and I mean oil it liberally. For brushes, I use plastic brushes to clean my guns mostly. Good video.

I got a NiB BCG in a package from PSA when I bought 10 P-mags for $99. I now use it as a paperweight on my desk after seeing this video. (I'm serious / no joke). It makes for an interesting conversation piece, and any man who doesn't recognize it I am immediately suspicious of. Mad respect to SOTAR.

What is the min/max measurement fafe to face for a AR10 308 bolt carrier, not including the bolt? I have one that is 7.86". I think its too long because my bolt catch doesn't lock the bolt back in the open position.

I JUST GOT A FRANKLIN LOWER WITH BINARY. day one got a 20rnd mag stuck in it, and had to hammer it out. scratched inside of magwell up pretty good hammering it out. takees all my 30 rnd mags, but my 10 and 20 round mags wont go in without getting stuck. not a blemish, bought complete lower with trigger. not sure if i should send it back to franklin armory or not??

I drop my entire bcg into a jar of Hoppes No. 9 overnight and the carbon comes right off with a bit of brushing. My grandfather gave me that advice and that’s what I’d recommend.

Knowing the BC and bolt gas chamber fitment MUST be proper and balanced FIRST when assessing adjustable gas blocks and or the OPENING of a barrel port. Otherwise letting more gas in wont necessarily remedy any cycling errors. TY.
