Amazing effort well done!! Can I ask what plan you used if you only started running 6 months ago to get that time please as I am motivated to get under 3.30 next year fingers crossed!! You’re proof it’s possible!!!
@TwoandThreeQuartersUK3 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching and great to hear you’re going for a similar time! I used the Advanced plan here - www.tcslondonmarathon.com/training/training-plans I think I could have done more in the run up to get myself used to running that many times a week as I had some injuries/pain pretty much every run of the plan, but thankfully I managed to get away without it bringing my training to a complete stop. I’d probably use the same plan again for another marathon, just using slightly quicker paces for each session.

Incredible work Sam, so many congratulations. I know that course so well, and watching you race round it brought back a lot of memories for me. There is no atmosphere like it, the support is incredible. I haven’t watched a marathon since I had to stop running, it made me quite emotional. Well done again mate.

I live 2 miles from Melbourne Airport. For us locals, it is so easy. Traveling to Orlando, always take 1-95 to HWY 528. HWY 192 is more direct but slower, with a ton of traffic signals as you approach Orlando. If you have time to kill, Melbourne Beach is really close as are some small great seafood hut restaurants on nearby HWY A1A. Stay away from Cocoa Beach, it is very crowded, and expensive, and other closer beaches are just as nice.

I'm looking for a recommendation from MLB to Port Canaveral. As a local, do you know who I can call for reliable transport so I don't miss my ship?
@robertglasker4 ай бұрын
@@lauracurtis2761 I would do an Uber/Lyft, might be expensive but you may be able to carpool. There is a shuttle but it doesn't run that often.
@lauracurtis27614 ай бұрын
@@robertglasker After watching a few more youtube videos, I discovered I could rent a car from MLB to use for the day before the cruise and return in Cape Canaveral, where the car rental locations have shuttles to the Terminal. They recommend dropping off your bags with a companion before returning the vehicle, so that only one person has to ride the shuttle and you don't have to shlep your bags around. ☺ This saves me about $50 over private transport after the fee for delivering the rental to a different location from which I rented it. And I have the peace of mind of not relying on a company with low ratings to actually show up.

First off, Elle is adorable and congratulations. Second, Joey’s adoration of her is so sweet! He is going to be the best big brother. Third, I once wanted to run a marathon. Keep telling myself when training for a half that I can do it. Then finish my half and say, yep no way. Cheering you on! 🎉

The Orlando Melbourne Airport is really an underutilized,easy get in and out airport plus you're close to the beach.The Airlines probably get a much lower runway fees than Orlando International that makes it appealing to them to fly there.Obviously,the disadvantage is the distance to Orlando.

The desserts are another story. Yum! Hope the pregnancy is going well for Victoria. We are headed back in February. If not mistaken, is your next trip early 2024?

Hi just found your vlogs... brilliant... although we are not travelling with our children we are having to fly from Birmingham next time (as Bristol taken off TUI departures to MLB) and noticed on your previous vlog, the hotel you guys used seemed to be next to the terminal.. can you let me know which one it was, and what was it like please.... Thank you.
@TwoandThreeQuartersUK9 ай бұрын
Thank you! We stayed at the Ibis Hotels Birmingham Airport - We booked through Airparks and it was cheaper to get the hotel and airport parking compared to just the airport parking on its own which is the reason we did it! It was small, but more than enough for a short night stay before a morning flight. Walking distance to the terminal too.
