Good day do you have a email address. I am based in Australia and would like to find out more information and what kits you might have for sale to assist in fitting a M57 into a Disco 1 with a manual transmission. Thanks

I think it would be interesting to see you restomod a Series Land Rover with a galvanized coil-spring conversion chassis a modern diesel engine. The M57 In-line 6 might be too long for a Series though. Maybe you could use the B47D In-line 4?!?

Looks good apart from the crazy colours but each to their own! You said we’d hear it but didn’t unless I missed it. I’d like to see more of the build itself in addition to the end result, nice work regardless.

Just got your video recommended after some ALive tuning homework. Would you rate an M57 as a worthwhile upgrade to a tweaked TD5?

Nice job. However, I wouldn't put that engine in anything, just leave it in a BMW. I had a 2006 Range Rover Vogue with that engine, I regretted buying it instead of the V8 petrol. The BMW engine was underpowered, noisey and not particulary good for a working vehicle towing a trailer.

Clueless
@sackvilleweldingservices8 ай бұрын
@@gerryr1893 No idea who you are referring too, but in my experience and that of others, the BMW is a POS in anything other than a BMW.

The l322 td6 had a poor gearbox and was an early detuned variant of the m57 engine 177hp. Bmw kept the higher hp variants for their owm cars.
@shimozo7 ай бұрын
This is the m57n, NOT the m57 with a terrible gearbox like you've experienced. Maybe instead of making such generalised opinions, do your research next time you wet wipe. The m57n can handle 400HP easily with basic mods and a new turbo.
