Being in a basement you know the water is in them walls. Should cut a 2”x2” hole every 12” to help it dry out behind the walls.

I mentioned that to him when we spoke on the phone. He didn't want to go thru that before he left on vacation. His main concern was the saturated carpet

Can You Please Get A Stand For The Camera. & Why Don’t You Put Water Inside Your Machine?
@trushinecleaning15342 ай бұрын
Thanks for your feedback, I have a stand, I just misplaced it, but if you look through my rug cleaning video you will see. In my experience, there is no need to add water to the tank when I'm cleaning rugs at the show. I use the tank when I bonnet carpet

Thanks for this comment. This community has done so much for my business, I honestly don't look at it as a loss. I spent less than 30 minutes in each apartment, all the customers vacuumed there own carpet, I didn't move any furniture. Just open traffic areas. Our minimum service fee is $120.00.
@michaelhorstman26032 ай бұрын
@@trushinecleaning1534 I thought I heard you say in the video much less. $120 for 2 areas not bad $20 extra per area. It is nice when you can get multiple units at a time but I wouldn’t go lower due to that. You’re worth more! I used to do a lot in my earlier days for low as well. But trust me after 30 years in the business I’ve learned I can do much less and make more. When a customer tells me I charge too much, yes I do charge too much, for you! But the services I provide and the way I do the job is worth every penny I charge. That’s why I have all 5 stars on my reviews. After 30 years I wish I had done this many years ago. Mt knees my elbows my wrists, they’d feel much better for sure! If you ever want to chat let me know.

If you lay down that spray forward also you’ll get mor circulation through the fibers getting it much cleaner. Sure it will make it a little wetter and increase dry time, but that’s what that carpet needs to get it the cleanest. Hit it with a quick dry stroke.

Defective carpet when it wrinkles up when wet. Don’t see it to often anymore. Back when they made the backing with a clay mixture, it happened a lot more and it would be really dramatic sometimes. I remember the first time it happened to me 30 years ago. Literally 2 foot high wrinkles on that old sculptured carpet from the 70’s. Now they use a polymer type of backing that still can do it, just no where as bad.

Dry soil accounts for 70% of the dirt on carpets this is a perfect example of that. Imagine if a steam cleaner went in there & just started pre spraying & steaming everything. They would create a lot of mud pushing it further into the backing. Very nice vacuuming!
