Dr. Iwasaki I was admitted into Hospital 12/10/2020 with Covid-19, I was on a ventilator and released from Hospital 3/26/2021. A lot of the people in the Covid unit during this time passed away. Male 60 I have suffered a lot of long Covid symptoms.

I'm curious how this can affect someone with endometriosis.... never had issues before being infected but all the sudden I've developed endometriomas, which indicate severe endometriosis. But that doesn't make much sense. I learned from Dr Jordan Vaughn who's been researching long covid also, that it causes a chronic ischemic reperfusion injury. And the blood gets very sticky basically causing clots. Anc considering endometriomas are basically huge blood clots, I'm wondering if any research is being done around that.

Thanks for your discussion. Seems possible that more than one of your scenarios could contribute to long covid, although not necessarily. For me, it felt like I had almost a "splinter" of residual virus in my lungs that is stuck there. I originally got covid in late March 2020, am still coughing up phlegm today. It is said to be a potential cure in relation to long covid and appears to neutralize autoantibodies and restore normal blood micro circulation. Was hoping you may be able to review and or provide your thoughts on the research in a future video?

I'm curious how the vaccine long haul fits into the viral reservoir theory. Paxlovid would only be effective if there was active viral replication in process which doesn't seem to be the case, particularly for vaccine long haulers. Paxlovid studies might consider adding alternative antiviral arms such as valtrex... Also would be interesting to hear Akiko's take on the metformin study...
