Star blanket is the greatest honor to receive. Long ago it wasn't a stat blanket it was a buffalo robe. After the white man came forced us to live on reservations and the white man started to kill all the buffalo. We had to replace it with a new version of the buffalo robe. When you are first born into the world your mother would wrap you up in a buffalo robe and when you die you was wrapped in a buffalo robe. This is why we have baby star quilts and we wrap a star quilt on the casket symbolize this old way. When you receive a star blanket you will always remember them when you use it. This is how it was taught to me. Hau hecetu welo.

SQ3R Revamped is more modern and effective, IMO: Survey, Question, Rephrase (Feynman method), Recall (Active Recall) and Repetition (Spaced Repetition). Shortly, Survey, Question, Rephrase and Spaced Retrieval (S-Q-R-SR).

I have visited the site twice and toured the SPLC museum once. Each time I left with a ache in my heart, sorrow for those killed (and their families), and gratitude for those who keep on fighting for justice.
