Also weren't these commie blocks built prior to estonia officialy declaring independence and seceding from the USSR? Some of us love these homes, our families were born, lived and died in these house's - history established for tons of families, but because some twits don't like how they look suddenly they have to go? yeah, no.

Haha the maps took you to the Lasnamäe District Administration building. It's a good start, there's a big beautiful park right there. It's just the beginning though and the majority of Lasnamäe and the big buildings are further away. It's very big and like a maze of buildings with not much else but the buildings (and some shopping malls and groceries stores). I got lost there once.

Thats the old Lasnamäe, not really what people talk about when they say Lasnamäe. I'd suggest to go to Lindakivi kultuurikeskus or the residential areas around Tondiraba park to understand what people mean when they say Lasnamäe.
