A Prayer for South Korea's Protection Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I am writing to you as a fellow Christian from South Korea, a nation that is facing a critical moment in history. South Korea is under grave threat, and many of its citizens remain unaware of the danger. If South Korea were to fall into communism, Christians here would no longer be able to live out their faith freely. Your prayers can help shield this nation from such a fate. China's strategies to dominate other countries vary depending on their strength. For smaller nations, it uses military force; for stronger ones, it infiltrates through political manipulation, media control, and immigration policies. We have seen this happen in Hong Kong, where freedom was lost, and the population was dramatically altered. Taiwan, however, stood strong. Learning from Hong Kong’s fall, the people of Taiwan implemented safeguards to protect their electoral process: same-day voting, restrictions on ballot box movements, and transparent vote counting. This prevented China from absorbing Taiwan. South Korea, like Taiwan, is a strong and wealthy nation, but it is already under significant influence. Over 70% of our society has been impacted by China's money, influence, and strategies. The media, legislation, administration, and judiciary are being infiltrated, and changes to immigration laws could alter the demographic balance of our country. Currently, South Korea has about 1 million members of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) and 1.5 million Chinese students and ethnic Koreans from China, totaling 2.5 million people. If immigration laws change, this number could grow exponentially. China’s population of 1.5 billion could easily send tens of millions to South Korea, just as it did in Xinjiang, where 17 million people were relocated. China is exploiting South Korea’s low birth rate, aging population, and declining fertility as part of its long-term strategy. In many elementary schools, classrooms are nearly empty. In a few decades, South Korea’s population could shrink dramatically, and those vacant spaces may be filled by Chinese immigrants. This is a future we must prevent. This battle is not about left or right political ideologies; it is a fight for the sovereignty and freedom of South Korea. We, as Christians, must recognize this reality and turn to the Lord in prayer. Let us pray for South Korea to awaken to these challenges and take action to protect its future. May God grant us wisdom, courage, and unity as a nation to resist these external threats. Let us also pray for the Korean Church to remain steadfast in faith, even in the face of such trials. Unfortunately, most south korean church keep silence. We believe that with God, all things are possible, and your prayers can help South Korea stand strong against these challenges. Thank you for standing with us in faith and intercession. In Christ, A South Korean Christian

Amen. Set aside as unique in what way? It’s not just anything unique. We set aside many things as unique in many ways. The Kingdom of God is simultaneously immanent and transcendent. Here, now. And utterly utterly beyond. So ubiquitous that it is He in whom we live and move and have our being. Yet so other that “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts”. Hugh Ross uses the flatland story as a partial illustration where He is just a tick away but completely beyond. Like movie characters trying to see the screen. Closer to them than their own hearts, but in certain ways completely beyond. Ross also mentions the discovery of multiple dimensions means this could be (or part of it could be) more literal than we have generally thought. But the Holiness of the Logos, the eternal Christ of God, is another aspect as I see you’ll cover in a future episode. Perhaps more like the light emanating from the screen, or lighting it up? Idk maybe not. In some limited ways of course as this is all beyond us, as you always say. Christ is the light of consciousness, which makes all things that are made. Some consider creating and making to be distinct, one giving reality and one giving specific existence. Hence the parallels of Gen 1 and John 1. Father creating this reality and all made things were given existence by the Son. He is miracle of consciousness, of I AM, of a soul, of biological life itself, of the soul’s path to the Father (ie the Way). Not to mention representational meaning and anyone’s capacity for knowledge or truth, He *is* Truth. Lord Jesus Christ is King of Kings. Blessed be He. Thank God I found this church and preacher. And thank you for preaching. It’s brilliant. And your love (which is His Love) makes it real.
