I don’t read a lot of cozy books either, but I personally really enjoyed this one! :) It can feel a bit slow at times, but overall, it was such a cute and uplifting read!

I haven't read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue yet, but it's definitely one of the books I want to pick up someday because it sounds so intriguing! :) I wasn't used to analyzing books before, but once I started posting reviews online and making KZbin videos, I found myself trying to analyze them more-though I don’t think I’m that great at it. 😂 Thank you for your comment, and thanks for watching! <3

I also try to read every day, even if it's just a few pages on days when I'm busy or just feel too overwhelmed. But I think being consistent is the most important part, not how many pages we read in a day!

Yeah thinking about that one scene that traumatized me still makes me feel sick, from now on I will check the trigger warnings before reading any darker books😂

Yeah, I feel that me not being a native speaker of English also slows me down a bit because whenever I don't understand a word, I have to check the meaning of it or else I'll go crazy😂 And just in general I prefer reading slowly to really be able to understand and imagine what I'm reading about. Of course it would be nice to be a fast reader and read like a 100 books per year but I think reading under pressure to read as many books as possible and obsessing over numbers can take away from the enjoyment of reading, so I'm okay with being a slower reader. :)

I've read a few books by King but I think the ones I read are classified as horror books, not thrillers, so I didn't include them in this video. But I'll try to include his books in some other video :)

Hi, thank you for your comment! Of the books you mentioned, I've also read and enjoyed The Silent Patient, AGGGTM, and The Inheritance Games! Harry Potter and Little Women are still on my TBR. Here are some books I think are similar and that you might enjoy: The Naturals, The Reappearance of Rachel Price, The Only One Left, Pride and Prejudice, The Housemaid, Five Survive, The Sun Down Motel, and Home Before Dark! I’m not sure how big of a fan you are of fantasy, but some of my favorite fantasy books (and some of my favorite books of all time) include Six of Crows, Divine Rivals, and The Cruel Prince! I also really enjoyed The Seven Year Slip and The Dead Romantics. Both are magical realism romance books, so if that sounds interesting, you can check them out as well!
