My Haynes manual just says to get it check via dealer but I would like to know how to do a basic check myself. My car is overheating and the fan is not engaging at all with or without the AC running.

How do you find out what the codes are

I know this has been 6 years ago, but do you remember if the other (old alternator) not shown in the video still "PASSED" while on the bench, but could not keep up the load and thus dropped down to 9 volts? The current alternator shown in the video kept up at 14 volts the whole time looks like if I am interpreting correctly.

Have you seen the same thing happen on cylinder 5.. 05 ram 1500 4.7l. Just bought it in december of 2023 the reason i jumped on it for $5000 was because it had only 130k on it.. at the time it needed an egr valve.. living in ohio when the weather warmed and after driving about 10 miles or so oil pressure guage would drop and go back up, after driving a little more it would only go back up with rpms also around march i got a bank 1 too rich code and found a vacuum leak big hose rear of driver side head couple months later i got the cylinder 5 misfire so i swapped coils with #1 couple weeks later #5 misfire came back so i swapped injectors and changed egr valve seemed better at 1st then this morning #5 misfire.. also notice a power cut kinda while accelerating and a buck or jerk while trying to maintain speed

I'm here because I have an 08 T&C 3.3 with over 300k and its starting to spudder and shake while driving, and while in park you can hear like a misfire or the exhaust sounds like its popping .. the exhaust muffler does have a hole so its kind of loud also.

I've wondered if the injectors can cause it my problem started from the rear one which normally rust causes the fail. After I replace them the codes are now two of them 332 and 327. The 327 wasnt present until repair. Although 332 was always present.

Change battery if it starts then dies if all fuses relays good.

2008 Honda accord recent incident: I figured out that I would I guess locked my door but car thinks I’m not in car. Red security light would start flashing and alarm keep going off!! Start car alarm go off. Turn it off still alarm. Open door alarm. Solution: get out of car put key in door and simply turn left and right. I read that somewhere and tried it. If worked. Called Honda they say faulty wiring due to mice and $800 blah blah.

May 26 2024 , hello , I have 2006 gmc 1500 Savana 5.3 L v8 . I have replied the knock sensor 2 x now . After driving 2000 miles the code po332 Knox/combustion vibration sensor 2 circuit low bank 2 . Why ? I have cleaned the pins that connects to ECM and 2 wires come from harness that connects to Knock sensor connector . ( if this code come up I well just replace new pins and wires and not use the old wire in the harness) I checked the continuity it is closed and good . Question is ; how do I check the voltage of ECM ? Also do I need to check if the new knock sensor is readin the knock from the motor three the wire to ECM . If o do how do I do this using a , Etekcity ( brand ) multimeter ? What is the right voltage ? When it listen for the knocks , what is it supposed to read ?

I have a 2003 Town & Country Lxi at 134,563 miles that is doing something similar but no check engine light. Got it from an auction, and I don't think a lot of maintenance was done on it. When I start it up at the beginning of the day, it starts fine, but as soon as I put it into drive or even give it gas while in park, it stalls or chokes out. Does that once or twice every first start up now for a couple of weeks. Seems to drive fine, except it will sputter a bit when stopping fast or speeding up. Also, it will idle between 1.5-2 RPM at least half of the time. It might potentially have a faulty gas gauge as well. Some recent repairs I've had done on it to rule out some other potential issues are these: new battery, spark plugs, serpentine belt, cabin air filter, and has had a fuel system service clean. It could be dirty sensors or other things from sitting to be sold at an auction. I'm hoping it's not the fuel pump, trying to narrow down what it could be. Any thoughts? Much appreciated!!
