Vocals are so annoying! Stewart is the GOAT.

I was at this show & many others with this entire group !!! I have to say they were AWESOME shows ! I had seen Styx in 96 with Dennis at the Rosemont Horizon & I thought that was amazing & the band sounded perfect. That I also have on DVD. But when I got to see Dennis with this band on this youtube video, I was totally in awe of how great everyone was & sounded. I remember saying that night, where else is Dennis playing ? I traveled around to see you all perform multiple cities & loved them all. I was even more happy you had the same band with you Dennis each time you came around. Thank you for the experience, the music & YES, Dennis, I HAD THE BEST OF TIMES !!! 🙂

Is that the original singer? Doesn’t sound anything like him. I used to play this song in a band in the 80s, along with “quick terms”, and I’m trying to figure out if this is the same singer.

That crazy inverted paradiddle on the backbeat is just nuts. He goes crazy with that in the live version of "So Lonely" from Certifiable in Buenos Aires.

Out of respect to John, (with all due respect), I think that he should stick with singing his own creations, because I have only known and heard Daryl singing that Marigold song, and I'm too used to, and comfortable with that version of it. Also, whenever John tries to sing one of the songs that Daryl usually sings, it sounds way different. I appreciate John's latest album, and when he sang back up, or duet with Daryl, but usually, not just with John, but for anybody who sings a song that they weren't the original and first singer, it doesn't sound the same.
