Amazing lap brother. Do you ever brake when inside the turn? like trail braking
@millennialmotoring

Thank you! I'm still learning FWD, this was really my first outing in this car. With my S2000, yes I do trail brake. With this TCA car, I was in some corners but not in others, so still trying to find where it's most useful in this car

always amazes me that they let people drive without hans or a hybrid. i think it is just a big safety issue not having such a device especially in formula cars

How did you fit the shirts tucked in boot so well? I feel my shift boot looks very loose?
@millennialmotoring
@millennialmotoring Ай бұрын
Mine initially also felt a bit loose, I did what I could to sort of spread it out at the base (on top of the tunnel), but it's a bit short for the S30's. The camera makes it look better than it actually is 😅 I did what I could to use the OEM Nissan shift boot clips on the underside of the trim piece. They are pretty cheap and effective

My first car at age 16 was a white 1973 240Z. I grew up loving corvettes but there was no way I was getting one of those at age 16 do I was super happy with my Z car….

Smoooth run. Was he left foot braking? Pedal cam time?

Yeah I was left foot braking, do it on the street and on track, helps the left foot be more precise/sensitive

Nice and clean lap! How did your diy valve cover baffle do in regard to oil consumption? I remember my stock 06 was burning around 1/2 a quart every session at SOW and there would be huge clouds of white smoke whenever I got back to the pits lol
@millennialmotoring
@millennialmotoring 5 ай бұрын
Thanks! I was really impressed with the baffle mod. After 4x 20min sessions I only lost 1 hash mark on the dipstick. Much more of an improvement than I thought it was going to be! It really made a difference in overall oil consumption. Was running high 28's most of the day. Definitely more time to find, but I'll keep trying 😁

@@millennialmotoringGlad the baffle mod worked out for you! I went with a Doryuku track baffle since my valve cover was flaking and needed to be redone. Figured I’d just knock 2 birds out with 1 stone. I was at Buttonwillow a few weeks ago and only lost 1 x on the dipstick throughout the entire day, so well worth the investment. I’ll be out at Streets CCW on 5/26 with Slip Angle Track Events. It would be fun to battle since our times are similar!

How was the overall fitment of the Motorsport Type 1 Air Dam? Did you have to do much to it outside of the two areas to fit the Skillard grill?
@millennialmotoring
@millennialmotoring 5 ай бұрын
Overall not too bad! I think no matter what you'll likely have to massage it and mess with it a little to make sure it fits just right against whatever grille you are using. But in terms of where it mounts to the car, its good. Just remember to measure twice and drill once and you'll be good!

"If you know, you know." Guy doesnt know. Ill tell you all. They made 250 of them, only in north america, they are all exactly the same. They have special center diff, special twill of carbon fiber, a custom shift knob, unique seats that say quattro rather than recaro, no fog lights, special grill, special carbon fiber outside. The center diff is very special, the carbon is very special. also the 18 spoke wheels were special.

Still one of my favorites 20 years of being announced! I don't think of the r32 as a canyon road car though. It's much more of a city banger. I rocked a mk4 gti for 8 years from 2000 to 2008. Had a lot of great memories in that car.

Awesome to see one of these cars being driven on a winding road like this. Never seen another 25quattro other than my own being driven properly like this. All of these cars are numbered, one through 250, designated by the last three of the VIN. This car is number 202. I own #250

Like the front wheels, and that smokey grey almost black is awsome. Beautiful car aside, I never get tired of seeing the gorgeous socal landscape. edit: oh and great shooting and editing as always, the train shot was sick! Was that planned or did it just kinda happen?
