$35 an hour 10 hours a day 5 days a week is $14,000 a month but she said she made $1,400 a month. Did she mean 10 hours a week or $14,000 a month? Either way, this was a great interview. Hope you are well Sarah. Children are amazing, though so much work. I'll bet you are loving it!

Absolutely loved this video. I’m actually in WYWTF but took an unexpected break so I’m incredibly excited to go through the course again and build my business. I’ve been thinking of niching down on sales pages since the copywriter comeback series & I’m gonna go for it. Long-form writing is just *chefs kiss* to me and I find sales pages so intriguing. This sounds most successful for extroverts. I dont get out much, and I have offered to do things like that for people online and I never hear back because who responds to a stranger's message if they are not expecting it? Also the people I know are cash strapped themselves. Do I continue to just send messages to small businesses like tattoo shops or print on demand? (like you said with Etsy.)

No matter where you are in your copywriting journey there are plenty of clients who would be happy to work with you, because there are businesses at all levels. And you only need a few good clients to earn a great income. Plus, a ton of my students consider themselves introverts. Freelance copywriting is a great option for them because a majority of the work is done over email. A great way to get started is to work on your mindset. Mindset work is the absolute best investment of time you will ever make in yourself and your business. And there's no end to it. You never get to a point where you don't need to improve. But it is SO worth it! Living with the right mindset will take you so far in business and in life. I have landed two copy clients and am writing website copy for them, but I have never experienced this much imposter syndrome in my life. I am not getting paid that much less; it's good pay for a beginner, but the imposter syndrome is holding me back. I have no idea how to deal with it.

DON'T her people will get you on the phone and PRESSURE you - they will make you feel like this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I did it - I gave this woman $7000.00 and I regret it every day of my life. The money I gave her came from losing part of my body. This program is not about writing or integrity. This program is about working the system. Only engage if you have $7000.00 - $10000.00 sitting on on your shelf gathering dust.

I have been so down on myself lately bc I've been studying copywriting and I've bought several courses .I'm still not a copywriter. Everything you said about not having to go to college ,opened my eyes. I've always felt less than because I do not have that education. My expertise is in copywriting, which is sales writing. This can include blogs, email campaigns, social media ads, writing for websites, and much more. This is different from content writing. Content writing just shares information. But copywriting always has the goal of getting the reader to do something. This can be signing up for a newsletter, giving an email address, or buying a product. Good copywriters can have a huge impact on their clients' businesses. They can get more traffic to their websites, increase sales, expand their reach to more customers, and much more. :)

Every single business with an online presence needs copywriters. That's everything from small Etsy shops to doctors, construction companies, beauty products, yoga studios, hair salons, online coaches, course creators, etc. A lot of businesses can't afford to hire a marketing team or even an experienced freelance copywriter with years in the biz. So even when you're first starting out, there are clients who will benefit from your writing. As you grow and gain experience, you can go after bigger clients. No matter where you are in your copywriting journey there are plenty of clients who would be happy to work with you. And you only need a few good clients to earn a great income. :)

This is going to depend on the product or service and the kind of audience you're writing for. Short-form sales pages can be below 1,200 words. Generally, products or services over $1,000 will be around 4,000 words.

Hi Sarah. I reached out to you over 6 months ago. You probably dont renember me. I want so much to work from home on my own time. That I know for fact. You see I've been sick most of my life. I'm 59 years old and not been able to do much with my life because my health goes up and down so much, and in the last 5 years I've become slowly more sick. Why I say rhis to you is because I want, and need the extra income. Im not doing well financially and getting more nervous each passing day. Now im in dialysis teicea week and don't where to start. Absolutely! Many of my students turned to copywriting because their health struggles made it difficult for them to work a 9-5. With freelance copywriting you're able to set your own hours and work from anywhere.
