This facility is unfriendly, rude and hostile to Veterans. I just tried to adopt a dog at this facility today, I have adopted two dogs from this facility over the years, I have never returned a dog. Today the Girls working in Kennal 11 were RUDE AGRESSIVE AND NASTY. One of them even said she was going to personally try to keep me from adopting this perticular dog. This is the second time I have been treated like a piece of garbage at this facility . The last time I went in there just after my service dog Holly Passed away, BY THE WAY I ADOPTED HER FROM THIS FACILITY and then I trained her to be my service dog. That's right girls at building 11 treated like crap in my grief and in trying to find a replacment dog to train. They even tried to stop me from adopting the dog I wanted back then. Watch out for the red head teenage girl and her dark haired companion they are mean and nasty teenage girls. The ladies in side the office also blew smoke up my butt about the dog and I had to walk out. Poor dogs. There is a reason this facility keeps getting dogs returned, The people that really want the dog and is a dog trainer cant have the dog I guess. Maybe Animal defence league is saving Pit bulls to adopt out to people they know who will use them for fighting dogs. Lord knowes an old disabled Veteran needing a trainable pitbull as a service dog is unexceptable to the Animal defence league.
