I visited here once when traveling from Spain to Germany. It's the most memorable stop I've ever experienced. Post-card perfect!

i was here just last summer gotta say it's nice if you only come for the beach and stuff, but i recommend going to salou instead if you are intressted in the beach and nightlife

A really nice video of Écija! It would be even better if you identified the different buildings and squares as you visited them, and add commentary about the museums and their focus. There is a lot of "dead air" during which it is easy to stop paying attention without any audio. Also, was disappointed that none of the famous horse stud farms were featured. However, I appreciate your effort and your excellent camera skills.

I love Salou, it's one of my favourite places, but I agree with some of what is said. To compete better with other resorts, it needs to be more on the ball with street cleanliness. Unfortunately people have no respect for their environment and they shouldn't litter, but the fact is they do, and by having dirty streets will put off the people who do care about the environment they are in. My only other criticism is that quite a lot of the buildings are looking tired and could really do with a spruce up to make the resort more attractive. It's still a great place with so much going for it, but it could be so much better if these issues were sorted out.

Yes, we were filming there last night around 10pm, the garbage vehicles were pushing through the crowds to do the job. It's not a easy job to keep such a resort always clean but there's room to improve certainly. And some streets are covered with rotten watermelon smell from the underground garbage system.

Last time I went for the day and had too much fun and missed the last train and bus back to Barcelona so had to stay in a hotel, it was a real shame boohoo ;-)

Learned how to get to Sitges from Barcelona by what starts out as a subway line! Only there in the daytime to enjoy the beach before embarking on a Med cruise the following day. Would like to return. Very international crowd.

@@BABeenHere Ja. Immer im Juni 4 Wochen und im September 3 Wochen in Calafell Playa. Zwei mal in der Woche abends nach Sitges. Über 30 Jahre bin dahin gefahren. Es war eine schöne Zeit. Leider wird man alt und müde.

Da kan man sich noch Abens frei rumlaufen und in Deutschland bekommst du ein Messer im Rücken und ist überall in Deutschland durch diese korrupten Politiker und die noch Putin die Eier Schaukeln und Cambrils habe ich mindestena 10 Mal besucht auch mit dem Motorrad !
