Love the bargain aspect but what I think would elevate your budget decks is if you included a couple mid cost(10$) to higher cost cards($25+) to switch out if folks like the deck style and what you would switch them with, that way they can do some upgrades down the road.

I'm in the process of building a very similar deck and I think Tombstone Stairwell is bonkers in this.

I played this deck as an upgraded precon for some time, it was really fun!

Why not run Beledros Witherbloom (Dragon/token generator/mana out the ass) or Ancient Red Dragon? Additionally, some haste enablers would go a long way too right? Those combos look a lot better when you’re throwing infinite 6/6 dragons at the whole board the second they hit the battlefield.

Katana sleeves are the best. But be weary when double sleeving them. They turn an EDH deck into a foot and a half tall tower of instability. Yes I’m being facetious about the size, no I’m not kidding about the instability.

Not gonna lie i don't like this deck tech, it feels lazy, you straight up took some 4 cmc or higher good stuff cards that do 100 different things and shoved them in the list without a second thought, it's just unoriginal lazy and completely nonsensical. Agent of the Iron Throne is one of my favorite backgrounds for going in the 99/98, because it's nice to have a bit more redundancy when creatures and artifacts are to be sacrificed.

I've got him in my ur-dragon deck. He's great. Also, you should make a commander video about Ziatora, the incinerator. He is a super cool card that I think could make an amazing commander that I've never seen before.

ziatoria is one of my favorite cards. i used to play a deck built around him in standard that combo'd him, yargal and multani and solphim to instantly kill the other player.

Used to run gilderbairn in this, I can't remember the name of the card but I used it with an elf that gave me mana by giving it -1/-1. Infinite mana machine. Much better choices in here though, but you can do a lot of cute things with Ezuri :D

Ziatora is my favourite jund commander, and I agree, she isn’t threatening on first glance. My version of the deck is very different (think big fling) but I like this take on it!

Loving the deck so far. However, I notice in more creature heavy pods I’m struggling to keep planeswalkers alive / defend my life total with such few creatures. I’m considering cutting some of the discard package for a few creatures or more removal/counters. Do you think the deck would still be solid if one takes that route, or are all of the discard pieces necessary? Loving the deck! Thanks for the videos.

Look up spike feeder, you can remove 1 +1/+1 for 2 life gained... end each turn doubling +1/+1 counters as you can place a counter for a single life gained 🤷‍♂️

Marrow-Gnawer is my commander for my rat deck. I actually have Thornbite and Ashnod's Altar for a win con. It's the only combo in the deck. It's a pretty fun deck to play.

I really like your deckbuilding videos, especially the ones involving Kess dissident mage since I'm somewhat new to the spellslinging archetype and could draw a lot of inspirations from them. However I think with Omo you missed out on a lot of possible strong and game ending spells. Doppelgang for example is simply made for her. You'r able to pump all the mana that your collecting in a big X spell thats also capable of copying lands like Field of the dead, Cloudpost and so on for huge landfall turns (same goes for agressive biomancy once you'r able to make your lands into creatures). Also spreading the number of creatures so thin seems like a non optimal approach to me. Every trigger of Omos ability always hit both, a land and a creature - and not utilising one of those counters seems like a lost opportunity to me. Last but not least there are some landfall creatures that I think are missing especially Springheart Nantuko and Greensleeves, Maro Sorcerer. I tinkered a lot with my own list and am quite happy with how it turned out in the end - but it took a lot of time to balance out the amount of synergystic creatures, utility lands and spells till I hit the spot. Anyways - thanks for your content and keep up the great work.

Nice Decklist

I have 2 rat decks. Commanders are wick the whorled mind and vren the relentless. Of the 2 wick uses more rat tribal strategies to spam rats so I can give wick infect and commit chemical warfare using the snail. Vren is more of a control deck using edicts but still has some rat tribal cards to buff his tokens.

I feel flyers are often underestimated. There are several cards that can give a creature reach until the end of turn. High stride, get a leg up, mighty leap, ECT. If you want a reach card that's an all in one package, Silklash spider is a good addition. Since you're not playing with abilities, shooting down thousands of flyers all at once is a great way to invest in your multitude of unspent mana.
