Hard to find carabao mango in Dubai supermarket that's why i always go for alfonso but u need to buy direct from the fruit/veg. market
@factsylum5 күн бұрын
Carabao mangoes can sometimes be found in the Middle East at specialty stores like Lulu Hypermarket, Carrefour, and Asian markets, especially during mango season (April to July). You can also try wholesale markets like Dubai's Deira Fruit and Vegetable Market or online stores that import specialty fruits. Happy hunting! 🍋

I don't know about the yawning, but I noticed the stretching we do while laying down in bed is another type of stretching. I felt my whole body being stretched and the gravity is diffrent while laying down. It's not the same type of stretching we do after the gym, morning yawn stretching should be studied too.
@factsylum7 күн бұрын
Great point! 😊 Morning stretches in bed do feel different-our bodies might naturally be 'waking up' muscles and realigning after rest. 🛌💪 It would be fascinating to study this kind of stretching more. Thanks for sharing your insight! 🙌

No, Palau was never part of the Philippines. While they are close geographically, the two nations have distinct histories and cultures. Palau was historically part of the larger region of Micronesia, inhabited by its indigenous people. In the 16th century, Spain claimed Palau, but effective control was limited. After Spain's defeat in the Spanish-American War in 1898, Palau was sold to Germany in 1899. Following World War I, it was governed by Japan under a League of Nations mandate. After World War II, Palau became a United Nations Trust Territory under U.S. administration. In 1994, Palau gained full independence, entering a Compact of Free Association with the United States, which provides economic aid and allows the U.S. military access to its territory. Palau and the Philippines maintain a friendly relationship as neighboring Pacific countries but were never politically unified.

just a correction Palau 🇵🇼 is not nor was it ever a part of the Philippines 🇵🇭 . we are an independent island separate from the Philippines. but the Philippine s 🇵🇭 have an island called PALAWAN. PALAU AND PALAWAN ARE 2 different countries different cultures and even language. WE ARE PALAUAN 🇵🇼 NOT PALAWAN 🇵🇭

Sis watch the video, around 2:31 to 2:50. Like it or not we were. "Palau was part of the Spanish East Indies and was administered by the Philippines until the end of the Spanish-American War in 1898. In 1899, Spain sold the islands of Palau to Germany and they became part of German New Guinea. The Treaty of Versailles gave Palau to Japan following World War I."

@@84yungPalau was *administered from the Philippines by the Spanish*, not *administered by the Philippines* itself. During the Spanish colonial period, the Philippines served as an administrative hub for Spain’s Pacific territories, including Palau. The Philippines, as a colony, didn’t have its own authority over other regions but was used by the Spanish as a base for managing nearby islands in the Spanish East Indies.

@@lay6them3to10waste @@lay6them3to10waste so if we were part of the Spanish East indies, and so was Philippines... Doesn't that in context mean We all are collectively part of each other? Genuinely asking.
@lay6them3to10waste12 күн бұрын
@84yung While both Palau and the Philippines were part of the Spanish East Indies, it doesn’t mean they were part of each other in a political or cultural sense. Instead, they were both separate territories that happened to be under Spanish colonial administration as part of a larger empire. Think of the Spanish East Indies as a collection of territories that included the Philippines, Palau, Guam, and other islands in the Pacific. Each area had its own distinct culture, language, and identity, but they were grouped together for easier management by Spain. So, while they shared a colonial history under Spanish rule, they remained unique, separate regions rather than being “part of each other.” In the video, it claims we were under the Phillipines for centuries... do you really believe that???

Yes, the Philippines has its own rich cultural heritage 🇵🇭. Before colonization, it had its own writing system like Baybayin ✍️, and indigenous peoples with unique traditions 🌿. Early Filipinos practiced animism, worshipping nature spirits and deities 🌸. While influenced by foreign cultures, the Philippines retains a distinct identity 🌍✨.

Thanks for your comment! 🇵🇭 I was born in the Philippines, speak the language, and know our culture. While I’ve lived abroad for a long time 🌍, I understand the lasting effects of colonization. Though I didn’t experience it firsthand, I’ve researched its impact 📚 and appreciate the resilience of our culture ✊.
#6 saying "tabi-tabi po" is something one must not forget when pissing on the ground or on the tree, The ground or tree trunk or bush might be providing shelter to a creature with magical powers. If you piss on it without saying "tabi-tabi po", the creature is going to get offended and your ding-dong will swell. I did not make that up, I grew up with that belief.

My goal is to promote curiosity and learning about different countries and cultures 🌍, and I approach every video with that same independent mindset. In 1983 I bought a tray of “Silver Mangoes” in India, the very best mango ever, no fibre, strong scent, small seed, very juicy, great taste (no overtone of dry mouth). The fruit is more green than yellow with silver overtones.
