As someone who has played WoW since BC and started to hate it back in Cataclysm, and also as someone who has been playing 14 since 2.0 beta, I think 14 has only gotten better over the years. The key is that the devs care, because they play the game too.

@@noonenowhere877 I suppose I'm biased because I absolutely love this game, but I think it's genuinely good and fun, and the devs care a lot about making it good and fun. There's a great free trial so you can check it with no stakes. Plus you can play barbie dressup with your cute character uwu

I can use a plugin called Brio to spawn more actors into gpose, and then write over their appearances with Glamourer, and then use Anamnesis to assign an animation to each of them. The dance mod puts each person's section of the dance onto a different emote, so you just assign them and press play and they all dance together. :) Once you have it all set up it's quite easy!

Iirc, I had to scale the viera down 10% and the femroe 20%. This is because in dance mods, their movement scales with their size. So if I didn't want them dancing out in lala land, they had to be smaller. Couldn't tell you why it works like that, I've never made a dance mod before. It's very different than how they look in-game hahaha, especially because the femroe is max height and the aura is min height!

I'm so glad you like it! Several things are working together here. The dance and camera files were originally posted online for free, and anyone can download them to use them. Some people have figured out how to import them into FFXIV as mods. The camera is using a plugin called XAT - you can download it with the Dalamud launcher. I just go into gpose and press "start" on the gpose movement and the XAT plugin at the same time, and the camera goes automatically for the full 2ish mins until it's done. I screen record it with OBS. :)

@@Vdrift16 I think the plugins have changed, and it's not XAT anymore, it's the illusio vitae plugin. I haven't checked if that's still the case in over a month though. Personally I find it much more confusing! If it prompts you to download the ivcs skeleton, you shouldn't need to.
