lol my 3 year old, who never watches anything that’s not animated or about counting numbers (he is fixated on numbers) was interested in this video. Even normal cartoons don’t interest him, it has to be about numbers or trucks 😂 but this came up while I was scrolling and when he glanced up and saw it, he started watching and made me repeat it. But he watched this and while he’s non verbal I asked in he wanted to try to use a pottery wheel and he clapped his hands. He’s a super literal child and isn’t really into drawing or anything artistic so I wonder if I could turn this passing facination into something where he explores that artistic side of him. We are both autistic as hell so I don’t even really have an artistic side myself though I have always wanted to (it’s like my brain heard artistic and said “Oh! I can do that!” But made me super AUTISTIC instead.) I have dysgraphia so the whole eye to hand thing doesn’t work well with creating anything (though it works for video games idk.) But if I can still help him explore that side I would love to, even if he finds it’s not for him. I’m thinking about getting a cheap toy pottery wheel from Walmart and making a mess with it with my son. There might be nothing productive to come out of it but I bet he would have fun. I know It’s for older kids but I’m going to look into to see if I’m doing it with him, with him on my lap, if it would be safe. It’s hard to find things he really cares about so even if this doesn’t end up actually being the case I want to make sure before dismissing it. Like he loves your videos. Idk. Something about you grabbed his attention and that’s more than most anyone can do outside of me and his dad. Just wanted to share with you the effect you had on at least one little sweet, shy, kid.

It’s not machine precise but pretty good I’d say. Also doing it at that speed without making the whole throw go sideways is wild.

If you want clay. Put dirt into a container of water, shake it up and pour the dirty water into another while leaving the debris behind. Let it settle on the bottom. Possibly wanna repeat that once or twice. Pour off the water after it clears up. And there you go, low quality clay.
