My favorite cousin passed away 3 days ago at the age of 37. I'm 20, and Assassins Creed 2 was the first game I played in his apartment. One of my favorite games ever since.. I recently played that game again and sent it to him. It brought back so many memories, and he was happy. and not long after he passed away. Every time I hear this song I think of him. That song is now a part of my life, and memories that I could never erase.

Whenever I’m overly stressed or having a panic attack, I listen to Ezio’s family to help steady myself. I truly love this slowed version of it, it has helped me numerous times in college. Currently, helping me to relax so I can sleep, so I can take my last final.

This feels like nostalgia incarnate, and I didn’t play AC2 until recently, the only ones I played before AC2 were Black Flag, Rogue, and Origins. All of them were fantastic, but Origins and Rogue hit different with their Ezio’s Family versions. Origins is my favorite, but the other games hold a permanent place in my heart. “Requiescat in pace” is a line that is engraved in my memory forever, and the only game that is more nostalgic for me is Skyrim.
