What percentage did you tint driver and passenger window? And did you tint your front windshield at all Thankyou. We have the same exact one and yes it does feel like a fishbowl!

This is exactly what I needed to hear! I honestly feel like the Good Lord led me to your channel. I've been wanting to start my own handyman business for a couple months now, but fear has been getting in the way. I believe I can do this, for me as well as my family!

Billable hour got it 👍 I charged by hour last year but am doing it by job this year - very insightful video thank you
@AJ-de3xh2 ай бұрын
Unless I'm mistaken, you once had a video showing "white board" explanation of calculating a billable hour (part 2 maybe?). I would love to see this white board explanation again. I believe you also mentioned a spreadsheet?

Great advice! You are definitely spot on! Another thing I would add iat if you tattoos
@rogerallred75252 ай бұрын
What I wanted to say before my big finger hit the wrong button is that if you have tattoos, you definitely need to cover them up. I've been on jobs when other trades were coming on the job for the first time and have seen homeowners actually start gathering up valuable items and hiding them. First impressions do matter whether you like it or not.

What tips do you have for, example. Your sick for 3 if those 4 days you have scheduled. Do you push your whole schedule out that's after that job that is now delayed or ?

Great video! I came across you and so greatful I did. I'm the administrative asssistant for a handyman company. Few questions I have for ya! Do you provide free estimates? If so, do you at least include a trip charge to cover for fuel expenses. Another question, do you have other asssitants working with you at your jobs, trying to determine if our pricing structure is inline. Thanks a bunch for your informative fun and engaging videos!

Thank you so much for this video it really blessed me. I’m in a similar situation as your start up, where the expenses were moving at a faster pace than the income due to family expansion. One of the things I worry about the most is the shakiness in starting out, my previous engineering job was giving me about 80k but it wasn’t enough to sustain the life we wanted to live, which was very modest tbh. I know exactly what to do, from watching your videos as well as others but that fear of getting out there just persists. As a fellow brother in Christ I can appreciate your advice so much more because I feel like this video popped up on my feed at the exact time I needed it. Kudos to you bro, you’re doing Gods work 👍🏾 Hopeful to connect with you one day.

Hey, I have the same van. I just tested my winter tires in Utah. They worked FANTASTIC! IN snow, ice, slush. Taking off and braking. My set with rims was $1,800 so I was hoping it would be worth it. It's hands down worth it. I got Firestone Winterforce CVs.

I've been doing field service and I bill at $125 an hour because I'm working on unique problems like fixing an old CNC machine or diagnosing a production line etc. But your point is great that when it comes to repeatable things like fixtures, door replacement etc, you can earn more by giving a fair price and being quick. This is the first time I heard about this shee/ exercise and I'm going to try it out.
