I remember that book where Groover keeps pleading to the reader not to turn the pages to see the monster at the end of the book. I also remember its sequel where there were two monsters at the end of the book and Groover trying to tell the readers not to turn the page while Elmo was saying he'd like to see the two monsters. And it turned out the two monsters were Groover and Elmo.

The way I seen it. The reader was inside the house with Poppy while it was bricked up. Maybe it is not the puppet outside that wiggle the doorknob and knock on the door but the reader trying to get the attention of Frank.

I've been thinking.... what if Home is a representation a narcissistic/abusive family member or friend? The kind that makes you feel unsafe in your own home. So far, Home appears to be very controlling and is, both literally and figuratively, the center of the whole neighborhood. The town is named after it, and hell, there's even a whole holiday centered around it. I can imagine that back when the show was popular, everyone appeared happy in their cheerful kid's show with their solvable everyday issues. But, unbeknownst to the audience and possibly unbeknownst to the producers of the show, Home was working to keep everyone in line and prevent them from exhibiting traits that it didn't want shown, just to keep up appearances, such as Eddie and Frank's possible gay relationship. Toxic people will often downplay the feelings of those around them and avoid responsibility for problems that they themselves cause. Perhaps the neighbors weren't happy being unable to express their true selves or their personal issues, but since they were on a kid's show, Home wouldn't allow them to fix their major, underlying mental health issues and instead made them do brief little fixes for them, like Eddie's chair and pea on a plate, or Poppy being bricked up, and maybe Wally was disassociating to avoid his stressful situation in the past bug clips. Home was looming over Eddie as he was disassociating, and making Poppy feel anxious and scared when banging on her door. While everything appears fine on the main site, like a regular, colorful kid's show, behind it all and on the prying eyes site, Wally, or whoever has been reaching out and sending the media, has been seeking help secretly, but Home has found a way to ruin that as well via the infections. A lot of us grew up with family members or parents who wouldn't allow us the freedom of self-expression, or who wanted us to always be emotionally available and center our whole lives around them, and so we don't feel safe around them, and our home just feels like a house to us and not a genuine, safe, stable home. It seems Home always wants its own way and for everyone to stick to their assigned roles and brush aside any major issues as if they don't exist. The spirals could be symbolic of Home's control too. When you look at a spiral, it draws your attention from the outside to its center, until you eventually get sucked in, like in Junji Ito's Uzumaki. This could also explain the "wave up high" and "wave down below" and "so below" stuff, as with the toxic environment and relationships on the surface, the toxicity is being built up within in the form of black mold which festers and destroys.
