What's the biggest difference between prs se custom 24 and prs se ce 24? In terms playability, build quality and sound??
@Austin_Westtt4 күн бұрын
@@r-musicstudio2884 the ce24 has a thinner profile neck in my opinion and also it is typically an unfinished neck and bolt on. I prefer the ce24 as it has one of the fastest necks that PRS offers and the playability is amazing! As far as tongue goes both a great options the 24 custom usually has a 5-way blade w/pushpull and the CE 24 has a 3-way w/ push-pull. The prices of the ce24 are always very affordable even if they are less expensive models

The first amp is a fender deluxe amp, the other 2 are based on evh 5150. So the amps get louder from left to right. The guy's signature guitar is a tele style guitar. It does sound good, i like the deep water preset in factory settings. Used it to play a Gojira track. Though this is death metal, would the second amp be more preferable to play Rammstein which is Industrial metal? Can you recommend a preset in Archetype Gojira not Architype Gojira X for Rammstein? Though I know the official presets for Rammstein are in Guitar Rig 7.
@Austin_Westtt6 күн бұрын
Hey! Thanks so much for watching and you're awesome questions! I would suggest when you open the gojira plug in going to the actual gojira presets and you will see rhythm ones through nine I would use any of those as they are very efficient at getting that new metal distorted tone!

Awesome! Enjoy your guitar and the PRS SE line is insane right now with quality!
@uwedasler42517 күн бұрын
Yeah, bought one around two months ago (Thomann anniversary model: 24-08, ebony fretboard, quilt top in Blood Orange), mainly as a gigging guitar, so I can leave my core model at home. I added locking tuners and lampshade knobs. My core model is a limited run Custom 24 10-top with ebony fretboard, satin finish, and the 'pre-TCI' 85/15 pickups. And honestly - the SE with the TCI pickups sounds better, especially when splitting the humbuckers, and plays equally well. The only two items that I like a bit better on the core are the vibrato (hard to explain, but it feels better and seems to have a bit more sustain) and, believe it or not, the output jack. As with every SE I have ever tried - the output jack is getting loose if you as much as look at it.
@Austin_Westtt16 күн бұрын
I agree 100%! Even the newer prss 2 lineups are insane especially with the American components in them. I did replace the input jack to a more trustworthy one but that was all I have done since making the video. Keep on rocking and thanks for watching!

@Austin_WestttАй бұрын
100,000% is better than Epiphone unless it's the newer Epiphone customs but those are priced very high! I think if you replace the nut in the pickups it would be just as good if not better than a Les Paul studio by gibson! Thanks for watching!

Were you playing this "out of the box" or did you have to do work on the neck to get it to play well?
@Austin_WestttАй бұрын
This video was actually made straight up out the box of course I tuned it and lowered the action a little bit but I will say I didn't have to do much more than that even after I made the video and set it up! Really an amazingly built guitar but I do understand it is highly priced. They pick up the loaner like $500 so I believe this is a still of a deal if you can get it $1,000 or under! Thanks for watching!

Purchased it, used it sparingly for 8 months and traded it in for a Gretsch G5420T-140. I hated my 335, not one thing I enjoyed about it. Just to show how much I disliked it the tech said, when appraising it, "hasn't been played much" and gave me almost full price.
@Austin_WestttАй бұрын
Hey I totally understand! Some people have different playabilities on different guitars that's why it's super hard to say this is the best guitar because some people like or prefer different guitars.
