You may have the guitar skills you need, but do you have the Holy Spirit? Even if you can play any song on the guitar which impresses women, is the Lord in your heart? See, the real value in life isn't in your skills. it is in the Creator who gave them to you. So learning the guitar is great, and I strongly encourage you to pursue your dreams, just make sure you are going to be able to use those skills in eternity, i.e. Heaven. So, I encourage you to, next time you are at the store, if you do not have one already, buy a Bible, and read it. Not only that, I encourage you to prayerfully seek out a Church, if you do not have one. If you go to Church, I encourage you to listen to your pastor and compare his words to the Bible's. This is all because God and his followers love you, and want to be with you in Heaven (though we know not who you are) because we are deathly afraid of seeing you in Hell. God bless you and I hope you seek God and find what you are looking for. Also, to anyone who reads this, your guitar skills will be great if you try.

The Tonex kept up with the Tone Bender on the first take! Ive really been considering getting a T1 to run pedal captures. There was something different with the last clip with the pedal though… it’s like there was a “chewiness” that I didn’t hear in the Tonex. I think you should capture your Tonebender! Then let me know so I can download it lol

I did a recording with mine yesterday for the first time. just through the USB direct in to my daw. it came out really well, i did normalise the recording afterwards though as the initial level was quite low. might have to boost the volume level (it was a clean amp) or use a high gain amp and see how that fairs. the other alternative would be to use the output jack in to my audio interface.

That was the only thing giving me pause about the tonex; how does it take pedals ? I’m wondering now if you have a specific impression of some high distortion going in. For example I go into my plexi with a DS 1 and the high gain side of an old Jemini. It sounds freaking massive. It’s hard to imagine that the the little box would have a similar responsiveness.

That's a great idea but how would they do it? There's only so many controls on that little pedal. Plus for $179 you're getting a lot already
@manaras23 күн бұрын
@@OldSchoolSoundATX well, I noticed that, even if you turno amp and cab off, using only the fx module, you can still adjust eq settings on tonex one pedal, so my idea is: when amp and cab module are turned OFF, the pedal controls could be assigned to delay and mod settings (time/feedback/mix and rate/depth/level).

1, 3, 6, 8, 9 and 10 are probably my favorites out of those. Just got into the Tonex "world" recently. Picked up a Tonex One a couple months ago, and decided to get the big pedal just last week. Got the white anniversary edition, just because it came with a bunch of captures from Jason Sadites and Worship Tutorials, and their stuff (on the Helix anyway) is killer. Cool little video man. Thanks for posting it! Subbed, if you want to check out my stuff and return the favor, I'd appreciate it.

I'll definitely check out those settings and try putting some bluesy drive pedal captures in front
@OldSchoolSoundATX19 күн бұрын
lol. The Angry Driver has options to put the Angry Charley before the Blues Driver and so on. Using an analog drive pedal gives you more of a tube-amp feel and sound. But. this $23 pedal sounds killer in front of Tonex!

New subscriber and tonex user. Do you use a di box when running into a pa? Currently using a fryette powerstation into a 2x12 v30 cab. The tubes give it that punch
@OldSchoolSoundATXАй бұрын
Yes. I do use a DI box when running into a pa..However if I'm running into the effects input in my amp, I will bypass the speaker cabinet simulation
@hammingusАй бұрын
@muleblues71: oh, I‘m thinking about that for ages now. How do you describe the use of the powerstation with Tonex (or other profilers and/or modellers for that matter, if you have used some) ? Dod you try other solutions (like the Seymour Duncan Powerstage, FRFRs, Amp Returns etc.) and would be able and willing to share your experience?
@hammingusАй бұрын
I‘m curious, what is the benefit of an DI Box versus runing into PA directly from the Tonex Pedal? And 2ndly: how do I find free tones and especially those of a certain creator (I really like the studiorats stuff whereas the Almagan Modells aren’t that much to my taste somehow).I really like your content and subscribed.

@@hammingus Free profiles on tone.net . DI box converts a high impedance (guitar) signal to a balanced low impedance signal. FRFR powered monitors usually have a guitar input so they don't need a DI box... and yes they do sound great w the Tonex!
