I got to see him and Debbie Reynold at the Elitch Gardens before it movie. A really great time, and loved all the songs!!!! Both are truly missed

I just came across this while scrolling. I’ve never heard of this gentleman but he was singing one of my favorite songs from my childhood. My parents took me to see How the West was Won at a fabulous theater in Detroit when I was young. This haunting melody was featured in the movie. I think I heard it once again in a movie that starred Jimmy Stewart. It has never left me. It is one of my favorite melodies.

He has an amazing voice. I was born in Mexico and came here at 7 yoa. My mom taught me to appreciate American music. This is an incredible example of excellence. It reminds me of my mom!

@@JoeAndresZuletaAguilar debes ser mas específico. Te refieres a mas danzones?? O a otros compositores de danzones? O a otros contabajistas independientemente del genero musical?? Si es a la musica en si, toda la musica cubana es igual de hermosa, los cubanos son grandes genios, cachao fue uno de tantos, su sobrino Orlando cachaito sigui tambien su camino y tiene varios temas interesantes. Te recomiendo ver el documental "buena vista social club"
