OMG what a stunning performance. Where was the audience?? So few attended. That Steinway was magnificent in it's sound. At first I thought it was a Bosendorfer with the bell like upper notes. Grumpy Beethoven is smiling..

Amazing performance! I have played this piece together with my fellow pupils kzbin.info/www/bejne/iai7g2alo7yMh6M. Music by César Franck always brings a certain depth and emotion to any performance. It is not only the notes that he writes that are pleasing to the ear, but also how he orchestrates them. His Quintet for piano and strings in F minor is truly a stunning example of his ability to craft an intricate and intense composition. Listening to the piece can fill one with emotion and send chills down the spine. It is remarkable how such a classical composer was able to compose such inspiring music with orchestral pieces that captivated audiences around the world at the time of its release. In many ways, it still resonates and finds its way into our lives even today. Even during times of sadness, listening to this piece can inspire hope and bring back joy. For this reason, César Franck’s Quintet for piano and strings in F minor will continue to remain in our hearts forever as one of classical music's greatest treasures.

The slow movement is really glorious how can a young man have written it.The second half has surprising harmonies too. I can't believe how early this really characterful music is from Mozart .December 1773 when Mozart was 17 .He was inspired by Michael Hadyn quintets. It makes me wantto go look for symphonies, divertiment, concerti from before 1776 when he turned 20. I will especially have to devote some time to Michael Hayn!
