the frame is 1 mm wider but the bezels were reduced making the actual screen almost 3mm wider.

There really isn’t anything called a ‘Dubai model’, its just that you can get them cheaper from Deira/Bur Dubai because they don’t have official warranties or have other regional specs like not having a physical sim slot, or not having FaceTime, etc. The iPhone you get in Japan will be different from the one you get in the US, and because of that, some iPhones will be cheaper than others. I would always recommend buying from an authorized dealer or directly from an Apple Store.

Well, when i read their promo material, it stinks. They claim local processing, but i promise you, for any task more complex than what siri is currently capable of, it will have to draw on its "private cloud computing". Private cloud computing is nothing new, but as always, apple claims to have invented the wheel. They probably like the word, because it sounds like privacy, but thats not what it means. It means privately owned. As in ChatGPT already is. Or microsoft Azure. All it means is that they get to run their own servers, in a metaphorical way. Physically, the racks will still be at chatgpt headquarters. And once it screws you all, as OpenAI has a track record of doing, Apple will just throw them under the bus, and claim that its not their fault. Even if a blind monkey couldve predicted this. Finally, in order to not seem like a negative nanny, here is what I WOULD recommend for you if you want PRIVATE AI: Get an RTX 30/40 series card with 16gb+ video memory. The memory is quite important, as the sub 16gb models are quite basic in functionality. Id recommend a 4070 ti super at least. Preferably a 4090. The extra memory, and vastly greater tensor core performance will make a significant difference in performance and ability.

After my GCSEs I’m looking to buy an iPad Pro, and I’m not sure between getting the 13 inch or 11 inch, if I were to get the 11 inch I was wondering if it is worth also getting a monitor so I could use an external keyboard and mouse with the monitor and iPad while at home at my desk, but then I could just use the iPad when I’m at school for example. What do you think? Is there any point also getting a monitor, and should I go 11 inch or 13 inch?

The Macbook Pro starts at $1599. I think you were referring to the Air($1099) which I definitely agree is a FAR better value than the iPad. I have an M2 Air and it's one of the best devices I've ever owned. I used to have a 12.9" iPad Pro and I just couldn't find a way to make that thing any more useful than the 11" Samsung Tab S7 I was using before.
