The gated communities has small to medium size lots, for me a big lot is anything over 1 acre. 1 + acre lots are all over the country side of Ocala, a realtor can definitely help you find exactly what you are looking for. Good luck.

Great videos. Would you please identify each area you're driving through. Sometimes you slow down a bit to allow us to read the entry signs, thats helpful. Thank you.
@aroundocala3885Ай бұрын
We try to identify all the different areas, unfortunately sometimes there are no signs to say where we are. We sometimes ask, but the residents don't the name of the subdivision. Moving forward, we will do better to identify each location. Thank you for reaching out to us, have a good day.

Surprisingly, the residents don't mind one bit. People that I spoke with, object to having the roadway paved in their neighborhood. The argument is that they get less people driving through the community.

@@stanwagner4788 Covid changed everything. Williston, Bronson, Archer, Ocala, Citra, Morriston, Summerfield and Anthony, were all cities with a small population. After covid, all of these small cities started seen rapid growth, and heavy traffic. Land prices went from $1200 for 1 acre of land to $21,000. Communities with affordable houses are popping up in all of these towns and causing traffic jams all over the place.

I live in Ocala. You rode around the SW part of Marion county which is all rural. There are no water lines, but well water. There are no gas lines, and sewers are sceptic tanks. It's far from any stores, medical facilities, and fire houses. Houses are on fairly good size lots, peaceful, quite and clean. Low crime, but it would take the sheriff deputies time to get out there, if needed. Beautiful, but not everyone wants to live in isolation.

I consider the most southern part of the Shores near Lake Weir High to be the barren wasteland of Ocala. Vacant lots sold there for like $2000 during the 2008-2009 real estate bust. Now they probably want $30K. That'll adjust out. ...all the way back to $2K per lot. My goal is to bring real estate taxes waaay down. And make New Yorkers with more money than sense sorry they ever bought here. Look out belooooooooow!

After a lifetime in a big city, some people now welcome isolation, and will pay anything for that mental peace.

Very poor planning by Ocala city commissioners. The road AO turns right onto at the 1:50 mark is NE 35th St. It will service Millwood as well as two other new home communities that are either in the planning stage or about to begin construction. The city of Ocala has done nothing to solve future and current traffic problems coming to what is already one of the most dangerous roads in Ocala for pedestrians and people on bicycles....NE 35th St from NE 8th ave to NE 36th Ave. Beware of what you will be in for if you decide to buy in these communities.

I live in Ocala and love it but your vid made it look like the city of traffic lights. I know much more pleasant and easier ways to get where you got. Early at the Motel you could have taken the by-pass to get to the fast food place you went to. Plus it's a pleasant drive. The most sad thing is the next left past the place you pulled into has a great Jersey Mike's subs. I still subbed you and will be back. There are beautiful rides to be had around the the big "O".
