Hi Kimberly, would you be willing to share your worksheet? I have a classroom full of 1008's and we're about to learn about the decorative stitches, it would be a very helpful resource. Thanks

I've just bought a Bernina 1001, which I believe it's very similar to the 1008, and really excited to start using it! Thanks so much for your tutorials. They're super helpful!

I realise that this was posted for a sewing class that you teach, which would be wonderful. However, living in the wilds of Lincolnshire UK, and needing some help, I found your really helpful tutorial on KZbin instead, thank you. I have a 30plus yr old Bernina machine and I now think I may know how to sew button holes with it, really really appreciated. Thank you so much.

This video is absolutely perfect for me to understand how my sewing machine can sew a buttonhole, thank you! Off to buy a buttonhole foot #3 with confidence after watching this. Wish I was in your class :D

Hi Mel I have an extra Bernina handbook and other attachments I was teaching at a high school and the class was discontinued. Berninas are very sturdy machines!

@@miksam24 Sorry to hear your class was discontinued Kim. Would be intereste in your attachments etc., but can't find a way of 'private messaging' you on KZbin. Hope you find good homes for them.

this was super helpful! I've only ever done buttons holes on a much more automated sewing machine and since my Bernina is second hand I don't have a manual. All those 0-6 settings had me confused.. Maybe I can finally retire hand sewing buttons holes for good!
