My dad heard Tommy play at a school dance when he was in high school. He remembered him being a little guy with note cards sitting in front of a music stand and played for the dance. Said he was a good performer but was surprised when he heard Sheila years later and remembered that song from the dance.

great interview. Sandy doesn't try to lead but encourages Coco to tell all. He sounds like a person you could talk to while waiting for a plane - nice to see older musicians who have "gotten over" themselves. Life's trials seem to do that

Dan composed and recorded alongside Joe Frank, alongside his brother Judd, and worked with his ex-wife Ann on all these songs in the 80s-90s: Give it Up, Welcome Back Home, Wanna Do Ya, Cry in the Night, Country is What Country Does, Feel it With You, Loving Comes Easy, Head You Win Tails I Lose, Do You Really Love Me, Santa Monica Nights, Roll On Down The Road, I Shake All Over, and others in his composition catalog that I haven't heard because not even snippets of the recordings appear. But I can assure you that all these songs are genius and are stored, recorded, and it would be amazing if someone digitized them, at least, and released an album, even digitally, as a tribute to Dan with all these beautiful compositions by Dan, added to all his songs with Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds/Dennison. What's the point of leaving his beautiful art hidden and forgotten? His music brings joy to people; his voice can even emotionally heal those who listen. Compiling all his precious songs for everyone to enjoy would be a true gift to the world and a beautiful tribute to Dan.

One of my best ever, a nostalgic one back to the year 1975, when it was in the British top 20 charts. Nice video and so cutie children watching. I guess they are some 6 /7 yrs younger than me ,depending on the year this video was recorded -- if it was '75 or a year later.

I remember Nik's songwriting had to take a back seat because of his looks at the time. But Radio Musicola was such a solid album. The song Radio Musicola was also a somewhat prophetic and foretelling song. I love music and I still find good new music, but I NEVER listen to radio anymore. It's like jabbing pencils in your ears. Just obnoxious.

I don't always cringe when I watch interviews of icons, but when I do Debbie Harry's being interviewed. Harry's presence is clearly disarming, which leads to a sense of comfort that results in overstepping. Every time, Harry responds without missing a beat. No eye rolling. No reciprocating inappropriate remark. No beet red flush or lockjaw. She just rolls on ahead. There's a 0% chance I would not have clapped back at the age-related line of questioning in this interview. Before commenting, I ran a Google search to ensure Harry wasn't diagnosed with a disease that would contextualize the "bucket list...in the time you have left" vibe. Thanks be to God, no. Interviewer just *that* focused on age. Unless it's sponsored by AARP, let's mind our manners with Miss Harry, interviewers!
