Circle is the album with most bonus tracks, and I only knew about Dead Man's Dream... I'm a big fan of Amorphis, I listened to all their studio albums and I own a physical copy of almost all of them... and yet, I'm just realizing about the existence of these songs.

I feel that Ne Obliviscaris is by far one the best prog bands and this song embodies it. Many people always mention how much life is in every note. Many prog bands are just technical and advanced for the sake of being technical and advanced. They can say their music is perfect through technicality but it’s all very pretentious and soulless. Whereas Ne Obliviscaris is still technical and impressive but you can feel their souls in each draw of the bow, strum of the guitars, note of the bass, and crash of the cymbals. Ne Obliviscaris is perfect through soul.

I had to step away from this band for awhile. As much as I love them, I just wasn't in a place mentally where I could handle intense emotion. Coming back to it after I've coped with everything...it's still like being stabbed in the gut, sure, but it's manageably cathartic. Cherish the people you have while you have them and remind them that they are loved. Sometimes they need that. And you never know when will be the last time you see them. Be good to each other out there. But also fuck shit up in the pit. Cheers, fuckers.
