Love how she dances in baggy clothes to go against the grain of what is expected of female dancers. She's kind of like Billy Eilish in that way. Don't hate on me for bringing a mainstream artist to the conversation because it's relevant.

Not trying to hate but Omni has a style very similar to slim boogie so to say he has his own style no but he does have style. I like his approach and commitment.

You trippin Omni may be inspired by Slim but completly diffrent style. Slim don't own animation ❤
@seanharris29854 ай бұрын
@@BoogieBoyCharlie nvr said he owned animation. It’s just the way he delivers, not necessarily his level of animation. Animation been around before slim so I know that and he is not the best at it I know that. Inspired at a very high level

its a poping battle not a f ckin acting boxing hahhha zero musicalty 0 foundation 0 popping and still winning hell yeah
@Bryan-is1hc5 ай бұрын
Although I do see where you are coming from in a sense he doesn't really lack foundation (unless we are talking about electric boogaloo). The boxing character was still within popping: he uses animation techniques to bring that character to life, which in my understanding still falls under the umbrella of what it means to be a popper, and he constantly uses speed control, ticking, strobing etc alongside grooves and other movements. His hits are consistent and he shows some of what most people I would say would think of as foundation for this style: Electric Boogaloo movements and some other elements of popping; Toyman, twists, isolations are used within his style, with the toyman being prevalent. Small amounts of tutting and waving thrown in to supplement. It's probably not the approach you're used to, but he definitely does have foundation and this is just from my understanding; I could be wrong in some areas
@Bryan-is1hc5 ай бұрын
Saying he has zero musicality is a little bit disrespectful as well. Musicality isn't just beatkilling if that's where your understanding of the topic stops

Great battle between two innovative dancers! Love the last track (always a fan of those "obnoxiously 80's type songs: Super corny lyrics, sound effects like they were made from a Sega genesis LMAO!"). The song is Ricochet -Dancin' Danny D Remix btw.
