Americans did fu*k all for three years but profited from the war by selling weapons to the enemy. The USA only got involved because the Japanese blew up Pear Harbour and Americans didn't see it coming. Imagine that a World War had been going on for three whole years and Americans were shocked and completely unprepared when the war came knocking on their doorstep.
