my two favorite throws Uchimata the most artistic throw and Deashi Bahrai the most dumbfounded throw.

I don't get why the like of ono and maruyama's uchi mata are so praised? It seem to rely a lot on their athletic ability rather than traditional skill of control. It's tremendous to watch but how can you learn from this? I just saw Maruyama in paris grand slam and it seem like that his athletic ability is leaving him, a lot of waza-ari from his uchi.

Bro You are right but think from their perspective they always play Judo to compete and they are throwing their opponents because they are controlling them No offense to you but they are competing
