I have personally emailed TMF to change the course. Like they’ll listen. To get rid of turnaround and to end the race at either Santa Monica like in the past or end at Dodgers Stadium. Imagine, ending at an MLB stadium!!!!!

Thanks for your words. We are always working to improve our animations and now there are markers every 5 miles, as well as information on the altitude during the flight on the route.

Ran it yesterday. Such a cheek to call it “Edinburgh” when 70% is in East Lothian. So many amazing sights around Edinburgh that it should be taking in. The long straight slog from Musselburgh out to Gosford and back is utterly miserable.

I ran Cincy in 2004 as my 5th full marathon and set a new PR that year. That PR still stands to this day after 63 full marathons, and I’m returning to run Flying Pig for a second time for marathon 64. It’s going to be interesting returning 20 years later, hundreds of races, and thousands upon thousands of miles. I was much less experienced back in ‘04. Hoping to finally get my Boston qualifier after all these years. Knock on wood!
