Update: I haven't been able to use the device as much as I have wanted, but it often fails to connect to GPS even with a clear view of the sky. It didn't work on my hike and even during my walk around my neighborhood. I wouldn't recommend this device because it most likely won't work reliably with no obstructions let alone under tree cover.

A Garmin Inreach mini 2 or Garmin messenger or a Garmin maps 67i are far better options

Hello! Thanks for this video. Can you make a video with the OIS+IBS stabilization test outside while walking? With the camera settings 4k, 60fps, and it is better to shoot what is in front of you, when you see the horizon in the video, the quality of stabilization is more clear than when bloggers shoot themselves and show the quality of stabilization (this is my opinion). I'm going to buy this camera with this lens and I'm interested in the stabilization while walking.❤

So essentially besides the fact that the 801 is the updated/upgraded 601 ALSO with the inreach connectivity so you can text home and whatnot? If so that’ll sell me on the 801 over the 601

If the GPS points that you get from your GPS device seems to be incorrect if plotted in the map, please check if the datum setting in the GPS device is the same as the datum that your map uses.

Thanks for showing the visual comparison. Would be nice to see an update after you've had the chance to use the 801 for a while. I know what you mean about the 601's tracks when viewed over a map, are not as accurate as most of my other GPSs. I like the larger screen and more square aspect ratio, but could see where it could become more bulky or uncomfortable to wear. The wireless transfer of waypoints to/from a phone would also be useful. I do have one question for now, how do the keys feel on the 801 vs 601? I preffered the keys on the 401 over 601, they were easier to push with a pronounced click to them.

Does your 720N have padding around the speakers itself. I just bought 720N and when I felt the speakers there were 0 padding when I compared them to my 5 year old XM3. So I'm wondering if mine was just a dud and the person assembling my unit may have forgotten to place paddings inside. I'm only asking cuz when I turn my head while wearing it, the audio sounded a little muffled on one side. Could be that my ears are pressing against the speakers due to 0 padding. It may seem dumb that I 'uograded' my XM3 with an entry level pair of headphones but the earpads on the XM3 started falling off from like late last year. So what I did was I bought new earpads online specifically for the XM3 and I bought the 720N white version cos my XM3 was black. 😅

Had lots of problems with the Sony connect App with these headphones,had to uninstall app on my Samsung S8 tab,but They are nice headphones.
