Wow! Those gunshots were really close. Country living for sure. :) Besides that, that is neat how late the harvest went this year. The birds were really talking to you out there. I still have some okra til the next harvest, lol.

super nice haul on the bells , may not be as big but you got a whole lot more than i ever have. i have subbed.

I think we must’ve planted the same seeds as you did this year. Great haul! The peppers did really well this year. Seeds saved from them for next year. Tfs 👍👍

I just planted some crimson clover as well. I read if you plant it densely it will help keep all the weeds and grass smothered. Let’s keep our fingers crossed 🤞😆

That would help me out so much. Chronic health issues have caused me to get way behind in maintenance stuff. Hoping for an easier year and the garden not be so overwhelming.

Vine borers got all of the first group I planted. I had six different varieties but when I replanted I just planted the little ones. I would love to grow big ones.

Very nice. I have a green bell that has produced all I could use this year. It produces 8 or more at a time. So many I had to add three supports. I definitely saved seeds from this plant. Amazing cherry tomatoes you have going there too. 👍👍

Sam, I looked up the delicacy part. It said that it's edible when it has a blue hue, not the black spore part that you showed. Super bizarre, but it's supposed to be good on tortillas. I would watch a professional use it before I did it myself. Definitely interesting and different. In all the years I grew corn, I never had that.
@greenhatgardening2 ай бұрын
Yeah it had a weird smell to it by the time I pulled the corn and made the video. It’d been around for a while at that point. Wouldn’t be my cup of tea to try

I planted potatoes for the first time this year. German butterball. I added straw instead of soil when they outgrew the bag. No idea how that worked until I harvest.

Thanks! I feel like I’m losing more strawberries than I should be somehow. Should I dig them end of reason and replant them in hilled rows? I thought letting them spread like this would be better.

weedy soil is good soi,if you had spared a few 15 min back in the season your onions would be real monsters !!!
@greenhatgardening7 ай бұрын
I noticed it seemed to keep the Georgia sweet onions greener longer, but I also had half as many onions as I planted somehow. I may experiment either adding shade or leaving some less aggressive weeds in next year.

Please explain to me what the forks are for
@greenhatgardening7 ай бұрын
It’s basically a way to keep squirrels, rabbits and in my case cats to keep from digging. They don’t like stepping on them obviously and it doesn’t leave enough open area to dig holes. Once the plants are older I’ll probably take them up

Hello new friend here! Thank you for sharing your garden with me. I just love how it’s all coming 🫑🍅🪴👍together and growing so nicely! I love to garden and I also make garden videos. I wrapping up my 3rd year gardening. I’m sad it’s coming to an end. I have so much to still learn. My plans for my off season is to learn as much as I can about gardening and making videos. I’d love it if we could learn more from each other!
