Has anyone been able to solve this problem?

2020 and I have the same problem... it started a few weeks after the 1 year warranty expired and initiated along side the factory installed Realtek WiFi failure. I initially thought I was the culprit when I removed and replaced the WiFi card, but this seems to be a common issue. I can make the problem stop by reducing the brightness.... but eventually the problem often comes back and will occur with the brightness reduced. I've modified the path of the display cable and that doesn't seem to have had any effect. Raising the brightness to maximum often causes this issue to occur as well.

TL:DR --- it's the aluminum chassis that causes the problems with the video card connectors. the RF or some wave from the wifi card interacts differently with the new aluminum frame which apparently caused some disturbances to the connections. For Samsung, all of their Samsung Notebook Pen S had two versions. Earlier Pen S versions and later modified versions. The later modified versions of Pen S had some special tape on the video connections to stop it from vibrating which would cause the screen shaking phenomenon. I didn't feel good about the laptop cuz it was brand new and 2000$ plus. i would've bought a macbook instead. but... in Korea, systems here are more windows-friendly... so i opted to buy windows instead but all these problems!! i ended up demanding for a refund from Samsung. They were nice. I used the same budget on Lenovo Yoga C930 (the new speaker hinge) ... SAME PROBLEM. but less intense... like someone mentioned in the comments, different angles of the screen work better... If it gets worse, I will take it to a local repair shop here... no way im gonna send this thing to the US... 1 month? no thanks

I am having the same problem too but was not as bad on day one (March 2, 2018) After watching this i realized that it does only happen at certain angles. But then goes away after a while of adjusting the angle. The same thing happened on day one with the USB-C ports as well. I need two additional USB ports on my, so I use a USB-C hub, and that too was also causing connectivity issues with both the external keyboard and mouse, causing every few keystrokes to not work. I bought mine directly from the Lenovo Website, so I paid more for a custom build with more memory and drive space. Not acceptable but need to get work done in the meantime. Happens more when opening a browser or launching any applicatioin.

I had my friend bring a Lenovo Yoga 920 to me from the US to Israel. Unfortunately there are display problems, somewhat similar to the one shown on the video. I called Lenovo and they said that I have to send the computer to the United States for repair, and that it will take a month. I strongly advise everyone to not buy Lenovo.

Lenovo has repaired the damage under the warranty. The repair lasted about 1 month

Same here - Just bought new from Best Buy. 4k, 16g/512g . Randomly does it. Did firmware updates and all windows and driver updates. Not cool :/

I had two units till now. 4K, 16GB, 1T. Bronze The first one had very loose surface of the touch pad. (out of the box) Second one had touchscreen issue, no reaction on the left site of the screen.(out of the box). Touch-pad on my second unit was ok, but not as good as on my Samsung ative book pro from 2014. I'll better avoid Lenovo. Made in china LOL

Just got mine at Best Buy and it has the same issue. Pretty sad considering my 8 year old Sony Vaio worked excellent until the motherboard went out a few months ago. Back to Best?? Buy tomorrow....

One thing bad about Lenovo is their memory slots! They suck! 99.9% of their display problems is caused by the memory slots! Either the memory sticks are not set correctly, or the things you have to do to get them to work right! On mine, No display. So I removed sticks, then I tried each stick in both slots. both sticks was good, but lower slot was culprit, or was it? If both sticks was installed, no display, install just one in upper slot, then display worked. I tried everything to get it to take both sticks, till finally I removed both sticks. Then battery, then pushed power button to drain juice. Then I replaced both sticks, then replaced battery. Then I powered it up. turn off laptop, do not take out battery. Remove the top stick, turn laptop on, then I got bottom slot to work. then again I turned it off, again do not remove the battery. replace the top stick, power on, and now both of my sticks work. Before you do the latter, remember this, You do it at Your own risk, it could damage the motherboard, so be warned! But like I said, it fixed mine! As a matter of fact I'm using it right now! Regards!

I bought one on best buy Orlando and have the same problem after 5h then a change for another unit and have the problem again, i love the computer but i have to change for another model,now i´m with the Zenbook flip s.
