I was in Keller , had just started the first yr and we were told the school was closing 😔 my brother was in the 2nd yr and got to finish his schooling there the 1st yr was told we had to leave and 2nd yrs and above were aloud to finish there education yrs there , I remember really well we had a special day there that was from the Tv show Surprise surprise by Cilla Black ,Bob carolgees came to the school with a film crew for I think it was a girl with a long term medical issue and we were raising money for her so surprise surprise show got involved, so Hill top school went on TV form an exciting moment 👍🏻 was around 1990-1991 or there abouts lol also remember the song we had to sing in music time , hill top high school hill top high school we are the best and we all know , history is boring drama is a laugh I hate doing drawing teachers are so daft , there’s more to it then that a class of pupils wrote it for the school long before I got there.

Miss this land mark, trouble is what's there now is shite, miss the old pubs that was knocked down for shite housing, same in Tipton when they knocked down the cooling towers, not all new things are good, really miss those times

Nice to see that again, I was a gas engineer at that depot, and was there on the day to witness the demolition. Took my own pictures and video too. Had to do a gas sweep check round the area after the demolition, all was fine :)

I remember standing at the gates (B'ham. to W 'ton. trackside part) in Swan Lane in 1959 (I was 9 years old). The King class locos thundering through, heading northwest & shaking the whole ground beneath me! GREAT TIMES!!

Wow, i've never actually seen Hill Top school before. I was born well after it was gone but my parents remember it and told me about it. It's amazing there's footage of it at all. Thank you for sharing it
