How in the hell do you get the city of Los Angeles to let you use the freeway to film on with this mini cars?

Late 60s into the 1970s. Newman, McQueen, Redford, Clint and Burt. When movie stars were movie stars!

Saw this movie a number of times in the theater when it came out and then on VHS, and then finally got DVD and watched it a few times. And all those viewings I never noticed until I listen to the DVD commentary that on the freeway they move traffic to the other side everybody is driving on the left instead of the right.

I never understood why during he freeway part, the traffic was actually going in the wrong direction while they were actually on the right side of the road.

A stolen 89' Ford ???? Hmmmm. They chased the wrong guy who was driving an 87' or older Ford. Guess they got lucky.

That cost a few bucks to do. Hope they made their money back.

Who is the real villain in 'To Live and Die in L.A.'? Eric Masters or the system that created him? A film that makes us think about the nature of crime and justice. #CinemaAndPhilosophy #OpenQuestions
